SOLVED! I hacked a spare 3DS and used Luma cheats to give me the last 5 relics! Defiantly worth the CFW!
I have all the relics that were distributed weekly several years ago.

However, I never got the 4 preorder relics or the Life Skydragon relic.

To my understanding, the DLC is stored in your SD card.

I was wondering if it would be possible to create 5 copies of a single gift relic file, decrypt them and change some values of them in a hex editor to match the item ids of the 4+1 exclusive relics?

If this was indeed possible, I could effectively make the modded dlc files, copy them to the sd card, talk to Nozama and he would give me the 5 relics as if they were downloaded without the need to hack a 3DS or install CFW!

I was wondering how I would go about doing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! :D

Anything with save editing is considered hacking your console. If you plan on doing so without your kinda screwed.

Is DLC considered save data?
Couldn’t it be modified using a hex editor to some degree? Or is it a bit more complicated than that?

Well anyways…

So after hacking the console, what would be the best way to install these relics? Gateshark? Would the codes in this

Bigger question: Will I need to buy something to hack a 3DS, and can it be reversed? I am quite skeptical about installing CFW with risks of gettin' the 'ol ban hammer from our good 'ol friend Nintendo(n't), or worse, corruption… If I have to go down that route, I would want it to be temporary!

    I used a vertical touch 22" monitor for playing some 3DS games through Citra.
