emuiibo - MitM'ing NFP services for Amiibo emulation

Hi everyone!

I noticed there was a project called switch-nfp-mitm, which had lots of forks, but none of them properly working (people reported it barely worked, and with some games), thus I decided to try to fix it, or to improve it as much as I could. Well, the results were that good, that I've just managed to get it working perfectly, even with a nice system of combos for Amiibo swapping, in just 2 days.

So, well, here's the result:

emuiibo

emuiibo is a virtual amiibo (amiibo emulation) system for Nintendo Switch!

It consists on a background process (and service), which intercepts Nintendo Switch's internal NFC/NFP services to support virtual amiibo emulation, plus an overlay to easily control it.

Have fun playing around with custom virtual amiibos!

Just to make sure, how the system convert the amiibo.bin files to the new convention? It does upon using the app during gameplay?

Is it actually copy right protected stuff Amiibos? Because I made a Package with 750 Amiibos, I may miss some for sure, but they could be added by users so we can get a Full List.

Yeah copyrighted, you can't share the bins here. Plenty of other places on the internets for that tho.

yes from same site using v. 0.2

I was trying this out yesterday and it leads me to believe that just MAYBE original amiibo data (im talking about progression) isn't saved?

The next best solution would be for someone to take the 20-heart wolf link amiibo, load it into Twilight Princess, do the hearts challenge, save it to the emuiibo, then try loading it in BOTW.

I would do this but I have no Wii U.

EDIT: I said Hyrule Warriors, it's actually Twilight Princess. Whoops.

you are absolutely correct. or wait for goldleaf's support for emuiibo and someone to back up the link's wolf data to see if it works. Unfortunately I have no other way to test the amiibo of Hyrule Warriors I do not own a WII U
