Hey everyone!

Are we officially calling the latest SXOS update and 8.x.x compatibility BROKEN?

I have not seen a single person state that all their older NSP's are working. Just constant reports of bugs and errors. Is the official stance to wait for another update?

Just reinstall the games. People have reported their older nsp are not working after updating. SX OS 2.7.1 is good enough to fix your problem.

No problems here either.
With 7.0. I had one single game that didn't work anymore while most games other people said stopped working for them still worked on my switch. But with 7.0.1. Overcooked starts just fine again.

Ok thanks everyone! There just has been so many folks reporting broken NSP's and not many (if at all) anyone reporting that everything worked fine.

Good to hear its working for a lot of folks as well!

You usually don't hear from the people who aren't having problems because they're too busy enjoying the system or their lives. Whereas the moment something breaks people come on here to vent.

Games installed using older version of SXOS all failed the corruption test. I'm talking about the SXOS released last year. If you use Switch's 'check for file corruption' function, those old games installed last year will all failed. TX knew about it, they said as long as you can play it - then it's fine. Now that bug is coming back to bite them. All games installed using Devmenu or Tinfoil will not have this bug.

Ok let’s put it this way. As someone who has been installing NSPs since the first release of the sxos and have ONLY installed nsps via the album sxos installer, it looks like I am likely to have problems....

Is this only nsp installs or XCIs that are installed as well? (Or only xcis that are installed?)

Thanks for all the info!

Use the Switch built-in corruption test to check your games. If it says the game is corrupted then you won't be able to play it if you use SXOS 2.71 with FW 8.01.
