I'm truly impressed with the game (the translation and the work that went into the project), but I'm even more amazed at the guide. Seriously. If that thing was in one of those leather covers, with the inside papers being those old thick cloth papers, then it would be a genuine magic tome.
I found some spelling errors. Anjira no longer seems to react via gmail. Is there anyone in the community willing and able (!) to collect and fix at some point in the future the bugs to release a 1.1 edition? Thanks, and sorry if this was already discussed in one of the previous 83 pages.

What is the purpose of these pdfs, how do they help? Or is it post-game stuff? In that latter case dont explain..
What I would like is an Item list and where to get the stuff. I have to collect the 3 stones, so the list is not even partially complete, counting 200+ entries. Some however no idea how to harvest them.

I also started posting all the found issues here, but I stopped (and I didn't play a lot since then). I still haven't finish the game, I play very slowly. I just left the first continent.
I'll post more here when I'll have time.
I also hope someone will gather all the reported issues and wait before everything is properly gathered from all sources (the patch was released on few forums and websites), so next patch will be a final patch. But this time, there's no haste, the team should take their time to properly polish the game. well, that's my opinion.

REBIRTH LIST pdf: Sometime along the game you will find a super rare item called Rebirth Stone. You can only feed this to your double-evolved Imagen for it to reincarnate to another type of basic Imagen. This reincarnated basic Imagen retains its former "Celestial Signs" and can have 4 slots of equipment rather than the usual 3 slots. This list is for us to know which specific Imagen will be reincarnated to the Imagen that you want.
IMAGEN SKILLS pdf: I create this for my own personal use because I want to find my own perfect team of Imagens. I don't base it on looks but more on the skill attribute that Imagen has. For example I want my Imagen Team consist of one that can use All-Fire heavy damage skill, one that can use All-Water heavy damage skill, and one that can use All-Physical heavy damage skill. Furthermore, this list also consist of specific item drops (normal & rare) from which Imagen that you beat and where to find them

I've beaten this awesome game a week ago. Basic and the Extra dungeons. Yet there is still no automatic pop up on the Martin's Missions' Bulletin Board for the acclaimed pre-downloaded extra Quest 101 - 120.
I tried talking to many NPCs in different cities hoping for a "trigger" but none did.
So after an extensive research on the internet I finally found the solution! You guys better thank me for this.
THAT IS: you can only download the extra Quest 101 - 120 in the original Japanese Rom.
Before I start, make sure you are in the same page as me. I use R4DS (wood ver.1.62) to play this game on my NDS:
1.) Get DeadSkullzJr's usrcheat.dat (v2.1.0). It is in gbatemp. You don't need to ask me for my tweaked version.
2.) Get an original japanese Ni No Kuni rom. (don't ask me where to get it)
3.) Locate your translated Ni No Kuni nds.sav and change the file name -> the same as the original japanese rom. (remember to backup your save file)
4.) Before you start your japanese game, ONLY activate "Wfc Replay Code". (if you activate other code the game will crash)
5.) As you log into the game;
- There will be 3 options in japanese, choose the last one.
- Then press "A" to load your save file.
- Next, there will be another 3 options, choose the second one.
- And then, there will be 4 options, choose the last one.
6.) Get your android phone: go to Setting -> More -> Tethering & portable hotspot -> Set up Wi-Fi hotspot
- Network name: ABCD (you name it)
- Security: None (trust me. nds do not accept WPA2)
- Select AP Band: 2.4 GHz Band (nds do not accept 5 GHz Band)
* Click back and turn ON the Portable Wi-Fi hotspot

* However, instead of entering 104.131.93.87 into the following DNS for both Primary and Secondary DNS (as stated in step 9), you type in: 172.104.88.237

8.) Turn on your NDS with only the Wfc Replay Code activated, as you log into the game;
- There will be 3 options in japanese, choose the last one.

- And then, there will be 4 options, choose the first one, click the first option, wait (do not press B), and tadaaa all Daily Gazette will be downloaded.
- Click back, there will be the previous 4 options, choose the second one, click the first option, wait (do not press B), and tadaaa all extra Quest 101-120 will be downloaded.
9.) Click back, back, back to the main menu with 3 options, choose the second one, and load your save game.
10.) As you enter the game, go to Martin's Missions in any city, check the Bulletin Board and you will find the downloaded extra Quests. Immediately save the game and turn off your NDS.
11.) Locate your original japanese Ni No Kuni nds.sav and change the file name -> the same as the translated rom. (remember to backup your save file)
12.) Play the remaining extra Quests in english.

Hi guys, I beat the game and finished all the extra DLC side-quests. I spent like 120 hours on this and I feel so lost right now. Anyway, this game is a gem. Thanks again for the wonderful effort for making it playable in english.

(1.) If you go on a treasure hunt in the world map, save your game when you have found 99/100 secret chests. The game will have a pop up message in japanese (dunno why) when you found the last hundreth and then freeze/crash. (please help fix this bug) The solution would be to switch back to the original japanese rom with your latest translated save game and get the hundreth secret chest. Let the pop up japanese message finish what it needs to be done, and you will have 20 more secret chest to find in the world map.
(2.) When you have arrived at the top of Moya Tower, save your game before fighting Shadar. You can continue and beat him but as the story progress, you will have the opportunity to learn the last spell by drawing it with your stylus/pen. At this moment, the game will freeze/crash. (please help fix this bug) The solution would be (again) to switch to the original japanese rom to beat Shadar for the story to progress. And the game will not freeze/crash like it is in the translated version.
(3.) If you go on a treasure hunt in the world map, save your game when you have found 19/20 secret chests. The game will have a pop up message in japanese (dunno why) when you found the last twentieth and then freeze/crash. (please help fix this bug) The solution would be to switch back to the original japanese rom with your latest translated save game and get the twentieth secret chest. Let the pop up japanese message finish what it needs to be done, and thats it.

This is awesome, thanks for altwfc guide and your pdf guides! I just found out few weeks ago that Deadskullzjr's cheats also contain altfwc codes, but haven't tried it yet, so it's good to know that it doesn't work with the patched game but only the original ROM. Have you tried letting him know in case he might provide another patch for it?

How do you get the online wifi Imagen by the way, is there a quest for it or do you just get them by going online like with Pokemon Mystery Gifts? Just wondering if it's worth it to get them the original way so that you do not miss out on any plot/story.
By the way, I'd recommend posting all the bugs you've found here but not in spoiler tags, or in spoiler tags that say they contain bug reports, since the team might miss it. I didn't expect to find any bug reports in your post about the DLCs!
Did you manage to get the Gazettes via the altwfc too?

Have you thought about creating a Google Document which would contain all of the bugs you've found so that they're all in one place for the team to see? Thanks for your work btw, hopefully they'll patch them out!

I can always gather all reports from here if needed, it's like a googledoc, but with possibility to post pictures and detailed comments too, I think it's better. the problem is that it's not sharable or editable by others. maybe a wiki/googledoc is better for that.

I noticed a bug with loading savefile. There was a message that data is corrupted. So i didn't procceed any further, I've got back to akaio, made some operations with copy/delete/move savefile and now I can use that "corrupted" file again(refreshed copy). I made backups from time to time but that's cool I managed to find a way to not lose any gameplay progress. However I'm not sure if it was really a corrupted file or my linker failing. It happened only once.

I have the same bug. I am playing on a old 2DS with Twilight menu from SD card. If I use Heal or Antidote spell in menu and try to get out of the menu the game stays black and sound freezes.
Everything else works fine.

Finnaly i found first gamefreeze. When i stay in Eisburg's igloos im freezing. Is it a bug or feature?
