Hi, I have a problem with the sx os Pro dongle and jig. My switch was sent in for repair cuz I messed up the sd memory card slot on the mother board. Result my switch was unable to read my sd memory. After repair, I checked and I was able to read my memory card. But when I tried booting it to sx os it kept showing me boot.dat? I m sure I placed the latest boot.dat on my root memory. Also I checked I can't inject payload even with atmosphere. Please help

Is the serial at the bottom the same as before? A lot of hardware companies call it 'repairing' when they actually just ship you a new or refurbished unit. Walmart does it with TV's. If that happened in your case then, well, that sucks. Might have gave you a patched unit.

Nope, I had checked the serial number matches the the ones I see in my system info. I am not sure if it is related to the voltage issue on the memory card ic chip

if you have another SD card, try formatting it in the switch's SD slot, then take it out and copy the SX OS boot.dat file to it and try booting. There might be something wrong with the old card, so just check that it works first off with a different SD card.

Either the sc card reader didnt get repaired or it's the sd card.
But it still can detect sd card. Before that it couldn't even detect

have you booted the console up normally then inserted the sd card to see if your console is a new model thats never had an sd card inserted before, it will prompt to update the console before it will detect the sd card.

if this is the case, nothing will work because the switch will ignore your sd card.

if the sd card isnt inserted yet, take it out, turn console on then insert sd card.

what brand sd card are you using and what format is it.

it would seem if all is failing that its linking to the sd card or if the console is even detecting it.

you dont need any files in order to boot sx menu as it will boot and show you the boot.dat error so that proves your console is compatible to inject the payload, we need to find why its not loading your sd card.

for sx os they advise FAT32 with it having the cheat code feature.

do you have a screenshot of the root of your sd card.

also have you checked your firmware hoping nintendo havent updated it, but if you say your using the latest boot.dat 2.7.1 should work.

try put sd card into pc scan for any disc errors

reformat sd card and just put your sx files and see if it boots.

Boot normally and format the SD card with the Switch to make sure it is seeing it.
Then turn off the Switch and setup SXOS on the SD card and retry.

Could it be when they fixed your switch they replaced the mainboard with an ipatched one?
