I have the 1.00 and 3.09 update of the amazon video app but it says I need to sign in psn. No workaround?
Hacking Netflix works, any hope for Amazon video?

I don't understand. I'm using CFW 5.05. I found two packages of the amazon app, 1.00 and 3.09. They ask to sign in.

Yeah, it looks like the updates came out after I tried.
You can just let the ps3 download an update and it works fine. You don't need to be connected to PSN to download the update or to use it, I have psnpatch blocking access to PSN.

Yeah, I think a couple of months ago I've update it mindlessly to version 1.20 and realized too late that the old version was patched to avoid PSN, that PS3 was collecting dust for a long time and forgot about it.
So I was surprised that it no longer required PSN when I tried to launch it, I suppose it's related to PS3 nearing EOL.
