Hi,
I want to update sys & emunand from 7.0.1 to 8.0.1 (SXOS).

I will be using nintendo servers to update sys nand (and xci games) and choizdujour to update emunand.

1 - If between those 2 firmware versions there is fuse burning how do i go about it? Do i update emunand or system nand first?

2 - Does booting to emunand skips any fuse burning stage?

TY!

EmuNAND can never burn fuses because you need custom payload to boot it. If you update SysNAND with official update, it will burn fuses at the first boot with Nintendo boot loader.

Thanks, done!

Maybe this can help someone...
First updated emunand with choidujour (exfat, no rcm) and choose "power off" at the end of the update.
Then updated sysnand the official way witch reboots console and burns fuses.
Then everything just works.

I updated sysnand first the official way and then emunand with choi. Now when it boots to emunand it goes to the reboot screen. Is there a way to repair emunand?

Did you have a custom theme when updating?

Yes I had a custom theme before I updated emunand and now it won’t boot into emunand. Is there a way to repair it or do I have to make a new emunand?
