TX Presents SX OS v2.7 BETA - Full v8.0.1 Compatible!

Good day, friends! We are pleased to announce the release of SX OS 2.7 beta.

Well, if you been waiting to try out 'boost mode' in Zelda or play MK11, well no more waiting, you can now update and enjoy! :)
This update brings full compatibility with firmware 8.0.0 and 8.0.1. All your favorite SX OS functionality (emuNAND, XCI emulation, cheats, etc.) should work as intended.

SX OS v2.7 beta is available on our website and through our Online Update right now!

We keep getting excellent feedback from our users, and have accumulated a nice todo list for new SX OS functionality. Its been almost a year since our initial release, but we promise we're still actively working on adding new features and improving existing ones.

Of course, behind the scenes we are also still working hard on our solution for those "unhackable" switches. Good progress is being made, so hang in there!

What installation method did you use?

I did a fair bit of experimentation back in the 6.2 / 7.0.1 days and concluded that the only fully reliable way of installing NSPs and XCIs was;
- installing whilst running sigpatched Atmosphere
- installing using the latest TinFoil (1.53 or above)

This allowed everything to work under both Atmosphere AND SX-OS.

Installing under SX-OS meant everything worked fine under SX-OS but didn't under Atmosphere.
Haven't experimented with how 8.0.1 behaves yet.

That is not possible, there are no further trustzone defeating bugs past 7.0.1.

There is one more bug in the bootrom, but it will require specialized hardware that will never be economical or consumer friendly in implementation. TX will simply use some variation of a public implementation of Deja Vu. There are obviously userland hacks, but nothing to the extent of enabling CFW.

Well, there is fear that's literally gonna end with people destroying their Switch. Eveb if the mode includes a giant warning screen that says that that could happen if you mess up with the overclocking.

    One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.

    Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
