I'm on 6.2 and also found quicker battery drain after upgrading Atmosphere to 0.89 (Charging to 100% then power off , draining to 90% on morning after 8 hours)AutoRCM is not the issue here. Please stop talking about it. So long as the system is not powered *off* from SXOS, RCM won't drain battery as you will not be in an RCM state.
emuNAND does have a battery penalty and there is no way to avoid it. But the penalty is not substantial.
PS: I confirmed NS power off completely(No payload can be injected).
