I must say that I have just tested the Guild Hall quest and... I works normally, I turned on the WLAN and created a room, selected two different quests and entered the area normally, then I abandoned it and returned back to Guild Hall again, I can record to prove this if you wish. By the way, I'm using the real PSP, I don't use any emulator.
If the issue is not present by using the original ISO, then you are at the correct thread
Could you give some details?
For example is there a specific mission which breaks the game, or is it true for every quest?
Again, which chapter/quests are affected? I've played alot in singleplayer mode with the patch, and haven't run into issues like this.
@Serberker, just give me some time and I'll check one by one from chapter 1 to 9, since I didn't complete the infinity level I cannot say that I have all the quests available to test.
Edit: It's done, I only tested from chapter 1 to 9 inside the Guild Court, I tested alone on a real PSP, I only entered the quest and abandoned it since completing it would require a lot of time and the issue reported was about the mission loading screen. Oh, I did completed a quest just to test if the game would crash or something, but it's all working just fine for me. If you guys are using the emulator it may be some configuration or other thing. @Serberker are you testing on a real PSP or with the emulator? Could you do some testing to confirm if there's anything wrong?

it was ither the 2nd or 3rd quests on chapter 2; the game will stick on the loadin screen at the start of a quest on ppsspp and i started over on a real psp and the game would freeze on the same loading screen at the start of a quests on chapter 2 2nd or 3rd quests; if you wanna check it out you have too use a clean new save file from the start*
Alright, I have finished testing.
I have used your savedata and the game crashes as you said. Then I have created another character on my savedata along with the already created chars that I have, I supposed that because it was an old savedata and created by the clean game the files would work, then I assumed that if I created another clean savedata using the patched version the game would crash as you said, but it didn't crash.
Then again I ask of you, which did you use to create the savedata, the real PSP (because mine have worked just fine) or the emulator?
@Serberker you said that you had no problem, are you testing on a real PSP or the emulator?

i used both real psp and ppssp with the patch and i got the same problem;
for it too crash; you need too have only one savefile; start a new game with only one savefile and the game will crash at ch2 with the english patch
Ps: i tryed it with a clean iso with one savefile and it didnt crash at ch2; so try what i said above ^ if it doesnt im doin something wrong
Oh wait i think i found the problem; i guest i did something wrong when i was patchin the iso; i delete everything and repatched it again and its working now so far; im on ch3 after bahamut fight and no freezing

I deleted my savedata and started a clean one and it didn't crash as I said.
Then it's solved. Good huntin'.
I've tested it on PPSSPP.
As a general guideline, always use the latest patch from this thread.
In the future I won't release the patch if it has errors in it. Not so happy about the current release.
I'm still inspecting the source of the issue, will post an update once I found it.

No worries, I did all that I could.
Don't worry, I think that everyone will tell you if there's any issue going on, some test is required to confirm that but you'll be able to fix that later. We all want to see this done to play.

I thought id make an account simply to add my encouragements, and to let you know that theres at LEAST 3 people (that i now personally) who are checking this thread daily in the hopes for further english updates. I still remember buying LoA at my local gamestop over 8 years ago and falling in love, i still play it to this day- so the idea of there being an english sequel available...well, just know that youll be making many people much happier on this spinning space rock.
