Mario Kart Tour will have a closed beta on Android devices, registration now open

Although Mario Kart Tour was supposed to already be released by now, before it received a delay to "summer 2019", you won't have to wait long to play it. That is, if you're lucky enough to be chosen for the closed beta and use an Android device. Nintendo will be hosting a "limited closed beta" for Mario Kart Tour, which will allow Japanese and North American players to help bug-test the game prior to launch. If you're interested, you have until May 7th to register on the official website and have a chance at being randomly selected to take part. The beta itself will take place from May 22nd to June 4th. Requirements to play involve having a device that is running Android 4.4 or later, has at least 1.5GB of RAM, and must be a phone, not a tablet.

About

The closed beta test is a test of an application under development and is held for customers in order to improve the quality of the game. Furthermore, the number of customers who may participate in this test is limited. If the number of applications exceeds the number of possible participants, we will randomly select the participants.

Thats the worst comparison I’ve ever heard in my life
It's not a comparison at all - it's inferring sales based on my personal "observations and interactions", which is exactly how you stated you came to the conclusion of Apple having a 90% market share in Japan, even though actual statistics put that figure at just over 50%.

As I said, last local research put the ios to around 70%. And I’m not repeating myself as I explained in length above.
As for observations, Im simply telling you what everyday people use on trains, busses, restaurants, schools etc.
90% was obviously not a research backed up statement, I just said casually how large ios is in Japan. No need to go full retard now

Running betas on iOS is also a much bigger PITA. You can't officially launch a beta in the store and its not like most people can just install IPAs the way they do APKs.
Actually there is another “store” called TestFlight where even you can easily distribute beta builds of your apps. The developer sends invites via email and as soon as you accept it you can easily download the current or past builds of the app.
