Hi,

Just wanted to ask this, since I want to play multiplayer games and can't really afford / don't want to pay for extra controllers, since I have a few PS4 controllers at home so I thought of this. I have searched for a while and never really saw this being brought up anywhere, but is it possible?

There is already a solution like the Magic NS, which requires you to buy a dongle, but could this be done via code only? Would be awesome to have the switch support other controllers via bluetooth or atleast cable.

If this has been already done / discussed then I am sorry.

What are your thoughts?
Thanks!

I can't get it to run on ReiNX.. No idea how to install it or where to put it :(
github.com/jakibaki/hid-mitm

Setup
While hid-mitm will work perfectly fine on stock atmosphere and possibly reinx the recommended setup is to download the latest Kosmos since it comes preconfigured with the awesome Kosmos Toolbox which allows you to easily configure hid-mitm.

On Kosmos it's just a matter of opening the Kosmos Toolbox, enabling the hid-mitm sysmodule and rebooting.

On Atmosphere, installing hid-mitm can be done by dragging the content of the release.

No help for ReiNX is provided, if it runs that's fine but if you run into problems please try on a supported cfw before reporting.

No support whatsoever for sxos.
-------------

Download the companion_apps.zip from the release page. Install on Android or iOS. Also on the same page download hid-mitm.zip, extract that, and place accordingly. If not on atmosphere, look for a ReiNX folder on root of SDCard, inside that folder you will see another folder "titles" now in the hid-mitm.zip you downloaded, inside of the atmosphere folder is another folder titled "titles" copy that to your sdcard:\ReiNX\titles. I have not used RenIX so I may be a bit in the dark, that is where I would start. Also, config folder id assume goes root of the SDcard.

You will also need the sysmodule/kip enabled

Once you have the mitm background service running with the files in the correct place, use your android/ios device to connect to your Switch. The controller you have paired to your android/ios device and once connected to Switch will act as another controller on Switch.
