Hacking Patched Switch Updated to 8.0 help!

So somehow my switch automatically updated to 8.0 (my stock FW is 7.0.1). I tried using the method I normally use to get back (Power + VU + VD) but that didn't work. Am I just even more fucked for modding my switch?
