ROM Hack [WIP] Puyo Puyo Tetris - English Translation for 3DS

Finally Made a file that BrawlBox wants to read. Because I can't convert all of the files ( because there are hundreds), I am going to say how to convert them. First, I unpack the xwb files from the PC version with unxwb. Then, I convert them to BRSTM with Looping Audio Converter. Finally, I convert them to BCSTM with BRSTMtoBCSTM. It may be too much steps, but I haven't got it to work any other way. Also, haven't seen any rules for videogame audio files in warez, so (when I can), I Will upload the BCSTM file i converted.

EDIT: Uploaded the file, along with some sound effects in BRSTM that are not ready. Maybe someone has the time to convert them all. It´s not a .cia to avoid piracy, it´s only those files

That is also my goal, but the problem I got is that I don´t know how to build a cia. For the tools, you search them and they are the first thing that shows up, excluding BRSTM2BCSTM. That one I don´t even remember where I got it, but I think I can upload it here, if it´s allowed

That is also my goal, but the problem I got is that I don´t know how to build a cia. For the tools, you search them and they are the first thing that shows up, excluding BRSTM2BCSTM. That one I don´t even remember where I got it, but I think I can upload it here, if it´s allowed

cool but its not the cia build I need to do, it's the romfs patching i need to work on but thanks!!!

Yeah Both, But I've already extracted the files so there is one down.
Then you need to replace the cia´s files with the translated ones. As said several times through this post, you can´t guess what´s there. You need to open the files and see what is what (For example: In Sound there are only the files for BGM and Adventure mode dialog; In Logo is the Puyo Puyo Tetris logo and other named "Attention", etc.)

(God I'm bad explaining) I'm making a combination of the two (meaning putting the files in the translation pack in comparison to the extracted files). And before you ask (Woah this is a terrible jojo's reference) I have a friend that can translate Japanese well. (sorry if it came out rude)

I really didn´t understood you. If you mean using both translations and changing between them, you can either use two folders for LayeredFS and swap between them to use either translation, or modding the game to have an option to change between the two (requieres a lot more modding and work to do, also I don´t know how to do it). If you mean making English and Japanese combined, just use the original files and replace what you need/want to have in English. Sorry if I didn´t understood you either. I just want to help

You are right, But its just file replacement to what I believe. That's why I believe there is no audio files in the patch (I'm probably wrong this is how I believe luma handles patches).

¿Can someone help me? I can't find the audio files for the character sound effects. I guess they are compressed in NARC files, but I don't know how to open them

Small update:

For the time being, I figured out how to "fix" the Japanese banner so it works in all regions. That being said I still would really appreciate some assistance in making a translated version. I was able to extract and edit the png in the .bcmdl, but at the moment I have no way of importing the files as EFE is unable to save the file and Ohana hasn't been working with my PC.
If anyone could help with that I've uploaded the modified files here.

Also I'm still looking for some people to help with the translation, so if you're interested in joining up please let me know.

Think you can get the texturing to be better on this model? I was able to create and insert this model into the banner, but, well... the conversion process screwed up the texture...

It look that bad Its just the 3ds is kind of wonky and the banner is turned slighting

Don’t know if this is dead, but I can help with the translation of stuff.
I have a lack of progress due to the fact that I don't know how to edit .narc files which is where the voice clips in battle are.

I found one patch that add the english voices to some characters. I think it can help
