TX Presents SX OS v2.6.2 BETA

We are back once again with another small update for our users.
SXOS262.jpg

Team-Xecuter back in two ways, first with their original sites are now back online, and now with nice quick SX OS update to enjoy:
Today we bring you SX OS v2.6.2 beta. This release addresses two issues we wanted to get out to all of you soon.
  • Game compatibility fixed for games that require firmware 7.x
Some recent games (like 'Hellblade Senuas Sacrifice') failed to boot with SX OS. This has been investigated and addressed in this update.
  • Improvements to cheat engine
We were made aware that the conditional codes (code type #1) were broken. This has been fixed. Some further minor stability improvements to the cheat engine have been made as well.
Last but not least, as you might have noticed our website(s) had some downtime over the past two weeks. We were quick with providing a temporary solution for everyone worried they couldn't activate their SX OS Licenses while we revamped and future proofed our production infrastructure. Everything should work again as expected!
That's all for today. More exciting stuff is coming, check back regularly!

Try pressing the power button 1 time when your Switch is on the black screen. Some users reported that the emunand boots that way.

If that doesn't work, try using Hekate to chainload SX OS. Someone reported that workaround as well.

pressing the power button justt after the splashscreen logo dissapears its worked! thx @stick267

cant believe was this..... now i feel dumb, but on the older firmwares it wasn't like this

7.2?
I have sysnand on 8.0 and emunand on 7.0.1 and hdd is working fine on emunand.

Yeah. I was wrong. It seems that while the rom menu is "scanning" the HDD if you try to load a rom it won't load.

I have to wait 2 full minutes for the TXOS menu to finish scanning before selecting a rom. Then it worked.

The default rom menu is painfully slow and inefficient and needs to be updated. Or preferably a seperate homebrew app like the SX installer should be made to boot xci.

Sometimes this happens to me, and i don't use emunand, i am on 7.0.1.
I just tried it and it worked, don't know what is triggering this.

BTW, i am taking about sx installer, sometimes it do that.

this is definitely one of the best features they can do for their next patch - some kind of cache to make HD loading fast.

Still no 8.0.X support

My money is on a sunday evening (uk time) release

They need to crack sept from atmos I think? Or find the tsec hardware bugs so probably we are stuck on 7.0.1 for the coming months unless they give up and hire private hackers

the worst thing is the silence, thats how they worked in the 360 days and this is how they work now.

its not new from them to work in the background i can say that, but with the amount of money they generated they would have hired a couple more people thats all.

they dont rush the release and i respect that.
but come on you made millions, hire mlre people.
i am sure they are more focused on crack proofing it.
sept has already been cracked by them, and thats why it took forever for 7.0
8.0 shouldnt take long but according to them, they are testing the xci/emunand and all other features.meeeh lets wait im not bothered honestly, i just dont like beeing late to the party thats all

TSEC/Sept stuff didn't change from 7.x so they've got away with it until next time. Various other changes needed to get 8.x working that are unrelated to TSEC.

Phones worked great for DS emulation with DraStic and a controller that held your phone

Yeah it works great but it's the obvious Ds factor you loose from it it's not like playing atari games on atari because Nintendo actually use to give a reason to buy their hardware

I used a vertical touch 22" monitor for playing some 3DS games through Citra.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Can't be that far off from it not like ds requires super hardware
  • HiradeGirl @ HiradeGirl:
@K3Nv2 I did that using Citra for 3DS games. Bottom screen was my smartphone. Until I got the touch screen.
  • SwordShielder @ SwordShielder:
    Use a TV
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
    Citra allows it already?

    Yes.
