Hacking PS4 Help please?

Hello,

I have PS4 Pro Model: CUH-7116B Jet Black

I updated it from 5.05 to 6.51 using Wi-fi System Software Update.

I downloaded Resident Evil Collection which is pkg size 24 GB.

Now how can I install it from my external 1TB exFAT USB drive to my PS4?

I heard I should jailbreak to CFW 6.51 but I don't know how to do it.

Any help please?

There is no CFW/Jailbreak for anything above 5.07 at the moment for regular end users.

So I won't be able to install PKG games on my 6.51 PS4 now?
Then how can I install on 6.51 at the moment?

You can't until there is a public release of a 6.51 kernel, and all the phony developers out there saying they have a 6.51 Jailbreak is fake. Follow the AIO guide by @KiiWii for ps4 Jailbreak related stuff.

So is the CFW here fake?
I downloaded 2 one from a site which size is 400 MB and the other is 200MB but after downloading the ZIP file it requires a password and has a note file that I should go to a link where I should complete an offer to download the password.

Yea there is a lot of phony developers out there, you should do your research before updating the PS4 firmware as it is one way trip, there is no downgrade,

I was new and didn't have any knowledge about that :cry:

I just updated the system software just before I've read and figured out on the internet that the version 5.05 can be jailbroken to install PKG games.

When I was on Software 5.05 I followed these steps to install Resident Evil Collection from the 1TB USB hard drive, I couldn't find any exploit in UserGuide/Helpful Info was it because my PS4 wasn't on CFW 5.05?

only firmware 4.05, 4.55, and 5.05 can be jailbreaked as of now, but i heard that 6.20 exploit is coming around the corner though, but then again, you just updated to 6.51. might as well just buy a new lower firmware ps4 mate.

Well can I follow these steps to Factory reset I heard I can go to Safe mode and choose Initialize System and have a USB with Firmware 5.05 inserted then choose Initialize (Re-install system software) can this work?

No, if you installed 6.51.

i don't think ps4 firmware can be downgraded at the moment, but i'm no expert on this, maybe somebody else can answer this?

Damn, I just learned how to make the exploit with version 5.05 by changing the DNS IPs and disabling Automatic System update but how on earth can I revert back to 5.05 from 6.51?!!!!!

If I only hadn't updated it :nayps3:

I just got a notification from Sony that there is a new system software update available so I did that's all before I figure out and understand the exploit method.

if you are already in 6.51, there's no way to revert back, be careful next time.

If you want to jailbreak your console then stay at the lowest firmware possible so no, don't update.

A CFW may never be released but until a kernel exploit is released for 6.51 then you can't jailbreak your console.
