Yes, 3.60 is the easiest to fix if you ever mess it up. It's also the only one that VitaSDK (the stuff to turn source code into vita homebrew) officially supports, so homebrew supporting other firmwares does one of three things:
1) just coincidentally works (most homebrew)
2) does some incredibly hacky things to get stuff to work (some of theflow's stuff, like adrenaline)
3) completely drops support for 3.60 (pretty much only vitacheat, but the older versions of it still work fine)
since i tried and tried and wasnt able to mod my Vita , there was someone from Offerup for $50 to mod it , will just mod it , and put channel to download the emulators, was thinking about it , since i tried with my 3.65 and all the instructions i found to follow dont seem to work.
You don't need to downgrade, you can cold boot on 3.65, just run hencore install molecular shell or Vitashell, install homebrew browser, get enso 3.65 off homebrew browser, then jump to finalizing section

3.60 easier to hack, but even if on 3.65 hacked, its better to have on 3.65 ? ill try again, just need a uptodate tutorial video, once i tried telling me to type these numbers to connect were outdated. one of my goals is to play original Zelda again , in nice bigger screen OLED
No, 3.65 has no benefits once you install reF00D and get a version spoof set up. Even 3.71 has no benefits as long as you install iTLS-Enso as plugin in addition to reF00D and the spoof.
i think why im having all this difficulties , is the living room computer, maybe something wrong with the drivers in connecting the PS Vita to the computer, i installled few apps for it and still getting no where, will do it on my personal computer , should work out. if doesnt work the guy to do it for $50 sounds more tempting.
well good news, i guess it was this computer that wasnt letting me connect my Vita to my computer all along. It worked on my computer, i got as far as installing H-encore and Vita Shell , i was trying to see how to install enso using USB, to permanently mod it. Then got to find out what is the next step. wanted to see how is it you use Shell to see all the system files of the Vita. Well , thats where i left off, have to get up early tomorrow will look into it then. Thanks everyone

how would i change the spoof, im at 3.65 , but latest firmware is 3.71 , wanted to see how i spoof it. i dont want to try going to the PS Store yet.
i tried getting a game online, to try test it out, would i just place it in any folder or ux0 , ur0 ?
i heard from the person selling to install all this, of a ps store to download all the emulators and or roms. ill try looking into it
i spent a few hours , but i got all this done so far, im exited. Any other suggestions or help on the above, i very very much appreciate it.

Select Settings from the live area, then HENkaku settings and finally Spoofed Version. Edit it to say 3.71
It's the same process whether you are on 3.60 or 3.65.
3.60 is more compatible & supposedly faster when running games that require 3.61 to 3.64 & you are relying on reF00D.
Supposedly reF00D is faster at decrypting than using the F00D processor & it only kicks in on games that are later than your real firmware, although I wonder why you can't just tell it to use reF00d for everything.
There are no advantages to running 3.65 that I have heard of, unless your Vita shipped with 3.61 to 3.65 as you can't downgrade to lower than your vita shipped with.

just got my 2 micro sd cards , 128gb and 128gb , want to use the adapter to take advantage if i can , of 256gb support , on the memory adapter.

That doesn't matter, the Vita has speed limits. afaik even a Class 10 (10mb/s read/write) is overkill
Yes, just copy everything from the old one to the new one (either transfer through usb with OS and hidden files shown or through ftp)
i made a mistake buying 2x 128gb cards, that was for the PSP adapter sd cards. i went ahead and got the 256gb, that way i dont have to worry about memory space. i was just having problems my 2 computers reading micro sd cards, so just went and invested in a good card reader for my computer, works great, i followed the latest SD2Vita instructions , and it works great, i have done all these installations and modding , installments , but havent really put anything to enjoy in it, will look into the VK game files and emulators , Thank You Everyone
