hey all,
havent posted in a while and i had a question. I have 2 vita 1000's. one i started to mod that was on 3.67/3.68 (can't quite remember) and one thats on 3.69. the one on 3.69 im gonna update to 3.70 and start the process of getting it ready to mod once the hack is released. my question is this...seeing as the one vita i have has h-encore on it and a few other things, is it possible to just factory reset it and start from scratch? if so, do i take the sony memory card out and then factory reset or should i just format the memory card first then factory reset it so that i can start from scratch? much help is appreciated. btw, i know a lot have said to not follow the youtuber tech james with his tutorials but is there one in particular i should watch? thanks for everything

Why you want to reset the one that is already hacked?

I wanna start fresh because i haven't picked it up in quite a long time and don't remember where i left off. like i have the sd2vita but i wanna finish setting that up and maybe a few other things that i can't remember off the top of my head i wanted to do. so i figured if i can reset it to factory and start fresh, i can install h-encore then use modoru to go back to 3.65 (if its possible) and then run enso, not that running h-encore every time is bad, just want a permanent situation.

Just downgrade and set up Enso, you can always clean up your plugins and homebrew you installed if you run into problem.

OK I guess i can try my hand at that. now would it be wise to use the sd2vita plugin ive seen around to save everything to my non sony memory card or is there an easier way to do it because ive tried to follow a few different guides and if i remember correctly, i kept getting a few errors

You can switch over to celeste blue's storagemgr.skprx instead of the gamesd.skprx, if you have the 3G model you can consider buying PSVSD from Solidsphere.

Both of my vitas are 3g models. i'll have to take a look at the psvsd because i have 2 sd2vita cards that i was gonna use but if the psvsd is better preferred, i'll definitely look into that.

Yea it free but gamecard slot but you need to be on CFW.

i realize that part. $20 ($15 for the psvsd and $5 shipping) isn't all that bad. as long as i can get my one vita on 3.68 down to say 3.60, i shouldn't have any problems because their website only supports 3.60. guess i'll find out which firmware i can downgrade to once i have modoru installed

It work with 3.60 and 3.65, with Enso enabled.
