I was just writing an album review. I was literally about to finish the last sentence when I accidentally pressed some keyboard shortcut and 1 hour worth of writing went to shit. And there's no "do you really want to leave" box. Super annoying.

Or write long blog posts in an actual text editor and just paste it into the box afterwards ._.

Save regularly, and copy/paste it out to a file as a back up.

I agree though: safety nets could be implemented

Doesn't chrome have an auto-save function? I know I've exited and rejoined later to still have everything I've written still in the box.
