Hacking Weird sound after 1.9g Wiikey Update

Has anyone else noticed a weird high-pitched sound being emitted from their Wii's after updating?

It happens on games that didn't used to before... and it's a fairly noticeable and annoying sound.

Does it only happen when you've got a disc in the Wii ? If so your dvd drive could be knackered mate.

Did this with mine after Wiikey update only once, 2 days ago infact. I was trying to eject lego star wars and it wouldn't, all of a sudden it just went beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, that high-pitched flat-line noise.

After powering off from the mains and restarting the Wii though, disc ejected fine, and no sound since.

Never happened to me, but i do remember when playing Simpsons i heard i lot of clicks. O.o
