Hi,

I am on SX OS and emuNand and always is running well.
Some littles one are also concerned about playing on emuNand and I'm worried about a simple thing.

When I boot with SX OS : I have to make sure that the orange toggle is : "Emunand : enabled"
But I need a trusted solution because if one of my little nephew press the toggle and run SX os with "Emunand : disable" SX OS will run on sysNand.

Starting from this point, I'm a dead man because my sysNand will be altered and configured with my WiFi....
It's so dangerous to press accidentally the Emunand disabled or enabled and alter the sysNand...

Is there a hint ?

If you have auto rcm enabled, you shouldn't have to worry about starting up in original fw. It should automatically start up custom firmware.

I would also advise not to shutdown the switch entirely. Just keep it in sleep mode when you're not using it or docked. It will always be in emunand mode this way

Why are you booting into the sx system screen that often? Once it's enabled, stays enabled. Even after a reboot

Yeah but in order to boot emuNand you have to run SX OS BOOT MENU and select Boot Custom Firmware and above this option someone can disable emuNand accidentally and get booted on sysNand.. am i wrong ?

No once it's enabled, it will always boot into emunand. You don't have to renable it, it's enabled automatically.

This is correct
I think the issue was because OP keep holding the vol+ button when booting, thus end up in SX OS menu every single time

I'm running with auto CRM disabled
I'm using 4.1 on sysnand and 6.2 on emunand with autorcm disabled
booting using SX dongle, jig and button combination gets me to emunand instantly
booting without any of above gets me to sysnand normally and no fuse burnt

Can you tell me how I am suppose to do to boot directly from emuNand considering the fact I HAVE NOT SX PRO but just SX OS.
Thanks all.

Boot the same way you usually do, just don't keep holding VOL+.

Insert jig, hold VOL+, press power, release VOL+ (this will prevent the SX OS menu appearing), use whatever method you like to send payload. You'll bypass the menu and boot directly to emunand.

Will the boot.dat missing file could also be happening b cause I didn't insert de jig ? I had it autorcm before I installed Emunand .
Does this mean Everytime that I want to start on Emunand I have to insert the jig ?

The jig is only there to get you into RCM, if you have autoRCM you shouldn't ever need it.

If you're no longer using autoRCM you will need the jig every time you want to load CFW.
