So, a couple months back I turned my Wii U on to play some games like normal. Grabbed my GamePad, turned it on using it, worked out just fine.
Then, moments later, my GamePad just spontaneously said I needed to get closer to the console, which was weird because I was right next to it, and then it disconnected. That there was the last time my GamePad ever connected to my console. I tried to do some further investigating, but I can't discern if its something with the console or the GamePad itself, but I did end up finding out that if I press the SYNC button twice on the console to enter GamePad pairing mode, the console throws an "An error has occurred" message and forces me to turn it off entirely.
Turning the console on using the power button on the GamePad still works. Getting the GamePad to actually connect to the system isn't though.
So my question is, what part on my console is the one that needs replacing here?
