Can you share the file via a Google drive folder ? I will be happy to share them with everybody on Google drive, and all of the file that people have modified so it works on switch

U mean the "AVALANCHE ARISEN Battle Textures" ?

but its only vanilla+Battle Textures replace+GuardScorpion+Sweeper. use only this file in the ff7 folder and no other if u have the magic.lgp, thats ok..

yuffie is bugged if i meet her in kalm, she cant run away and it do bug

and this .exe make shitty fps, and battle texture upscale crash over 512p mutch faster as without this exe

without this exe i can play my 717p battle texture without problems for hours

I ported New Threat version 1.4 (English only), which does not require a modified exe, so it may be more compatible with the Switch. You might even be able to use your existing NT 1.5 save and things won't be too messed up. Source points do work correctly at least (you get 5x the items, each item gives 1 point, so it works out.)

CHAOS models would still have to be added on top, this mod does do a few things to char.lgp and flevel.lgp, so those may need files added to them rather than being completely overwritten. I'm having trouble getting all the field player characters to extract from the 7H IRO though, stops mid red-xiii. Maybe someone else can try but if not I'll probably figure it out at some point.

You also have to handle your own soundtrack but that's as simple as dumping things in the data\music_ogg folder.

Just drop this in atmosphere/titles or whatever equivalent on other firmwares.

Edit: I tried overwriting the battle.lgp with CHAOS' and the game hard-locked the Switch whenever I started the battle after setting bomb on reactor 5. I had to go back to the one I made here to get the fight to load. The game also froze right before falling into the church when I was using CHAOS char.lgp. So don't try to simply replace the lgp files I provided here to add new graphics, they need to be merged properly!

Latest SXOS that works with LayeredSF is beta 2.4.x

i have 3 switches 2x atmo and 1x sxos and all do work. with 7.0.1

this sxos layer probs is fixed since the beta 2.6.1 and it exist since 18.03

So you do something wrong.
I can confirm.. layered broken with the last version of Sxos. My modded skyrim works great with it but modded FF7 don’t. I’ve just installed atmosphere for the first time and now the mods works great! The problem is with sx os sadly :(

hi ok... but here it do work with ff vii layered. but i have moded all mods to german and use the german files like gflevel.
maybe that do fix it, or that is the diference about us, yoshi osd change do also work in sxos for me.
have now testet more, the forwarder do also work for me. cant find a prob... with german switch gui version

only one i cant use "because mod", the game crash with ffvii but all other layered stuff that i have made the last months do work. "stupid"
but ok it work now for u have fun, i have sxos only on the kid switch that work better for me :)
but gz to atmo is sure better, for the normal skilled user :)

can anyone tell me why the game crashes when ever i add new models.... as i go to a different screen it black screens and locks??

Mr. Smile and the rank up system is not working for me. Everytime I'm choosing on of the options, I always get the same mixture of upgrade items, which are not even close to the chosen one.

Is this 1.5 linked in the OP? Source points are generally broken there because the exe wasn't ported correctly. That's mainly why I've been working on 1.4.

Also you should always get +5 worth of items for every stat, the choice you make adds more stats on top of that.

Here's my updated 1.01 Switch repackage of Sega Chief's New Threat 1.4, including some "Plus" bells and whistles:
  • CHAOS high-quality character models
  • Avalanche Arisen battle scene textures at 0.5k (double quality over vanilla)
  • Seclet character voices in battle (optional)
  • JordieBo hi-res prelude credit screen
  • custom continue screen
This is only for the English release.
A readme is included with more details.

I've played up through Golden Saucer so far with everything seeming to work. That includes getting the right amount of source points per rank (+5 all stats, then another +10 or +5 for others) This is why I'm using 1.4 because 1.5 seems broken on the Switch in a few places, particularly on source points.

I also reverted CHAOS Shinra guards and soldiers to chibi models to help performance, especially mini-games sections like Junon parade.
