Hacking Trying to WUP update and install DLC, game doesnt see it and in Data Management I get weirdness

First of I can sucessfully install games. I use USB helper program.

Trying to WUP update and install DLC thought (Mario Kart 8), the game doesnt see it and in Data Management I get "You cannot select software that is being updated or downloaded".

Is there a special way to install DLC/Updates?

The Mario Kart 8 is a legit copy, DLC/Update is same region.

Also, how do I delete the weirdness in data management without reformat?

Are you sure you've put all of the game's files (application if not on bluray, save, update, dlc) in the same storage - and that they are indeed for the same app (which implies being the same region)?

A game update will count as properly installed once you manage to run it at least once - I haven't tried but maybe systemconfigtool can remove it anyway? And if all else fails there's always the dirty method - deleting files over FTP

But first try copying things to the same place!

updates should install fine, if they are actually needed.

DLC requires sigpatches to install unless you actually bought it.
