Yes skipping is a lot more stable now, and playback speed (2x, 4x...) have been added to R shoulder (backward is not possible).Cool happy to hear that this project is still alive! I noticed on the last release that skipping was a bit wonky (Sometimes it would keep the GUI on the screen sometimes it would hide it so you had to bring it up again, and also it would take some time before it loaded after skipping)
Will this work better in the new update?
Also as someone mentioned it would be awesome to be able to skipp with the shoulder buttons. (Especially for us anime fans, those anime intros can get quite annoying after a while hehe)

It's software decoding yes, but most media won't need OC now (but I didn't get a battery drain as bad as you until now).I have recently used pplay onboard an aircraft and realized how much it drains the battery. A full charge lasts maybe 45 minutes. I had to watch my 2hr movie plugged in, and the charge rate cannot catch up with the drain, so I still ended up with a drained battery after finishing the movie. Is there a reason pplay drains battery so much? Is it because decoding is done on the cpu? I remember hardware decoding is very easy on the battery. I used to watch hours and hours of video on the psp.
