Hey I followed your tutorial and whatever I do, I'm always getting the error "loop start and end is beyond valid aram range". I just can't seem to fix it. Do you have an idea how to solve that problem?

So... what did you do fo fix that?
I tried. Nothing worked. Now I guess this is one possible way (don't blame me if it doesn't work). Use Audacity and create all the channels you need as a mono track (remember that 2 channels make one stream). This is how it should look: 4ch - 1.wav, 2.wav, 3.wav, 4.wav (similar for 6ch and 8ch). Now get a tool called MBRSTM (Google it). Copy all your files to this program's folder. Right click > Edit the BuildXCH.bat (X is the no. of channels you want). Now find the loop points for your files (in Audacity simply change the seconds to samples). Right after l (it'll be in lowercase) in every line, this should be there (loopstart-loopend). Once done save the .bat file and open it. Let it do the job. Now a file will be output. This is a multi channel BRSTM. Open it with BrawlBox 0.77 and save it as a bcstm file (edit>export).

Loopstart-loopend is the number of samples for the Loop's start and end. So enter the number.

I'm sorry that didn't work. I did the technique shown in the video. It somehow worked for me and I got a Multi-Channel BCSTM!!!! (And Notepad ++ is not necessary to download. Microsoft Notepad itself works!)

Does this work for New Super Mario Bros. 2? I wanted to replace the overworld theme with the one from New Super Mario Bros. Wii. (they are the same music but nsmb2 has the "bah" sound effect making up the entirety of the music track)

Please check how many tracks the bcstm file has.
And please check my signature as well.

Figured I should comment now, better late than never, but what fixed the "loop start and end is beyond valid aram range" error for me was by adding Python to the main Windows Path. Since I can't post links because reasons, google "python is not recognized as an internal or external command" and you should find a site explaining how to fix it.

Actually, you don't need to add "python" as I did at 6:39 in the video.
I reinstalled my OS few month ago for some reasons. After that, I got same error.
I think my installation was not correct before.
So, I've deleted "python" then it was solved.
I'm sorry for that. I'll re-upload the video, time permitting.

it must be an 8ch bcstm encoded using the same tools used in this tutorial.
