Mine is not recognized by both switch and pc and pressing the plus button does not do anything. Charging it doesnt do anything as well. Is mine broken or am I doing something wrong?

It is normal that initially when I arrived the battery lasted for months without recharge, but the second charge (a full day of charging) lasts only a few days.?

Yes. If this does not happen, it has no battery

it takes a long time to charge. I mean several hours...

Anyway connect it to the pac via micro usb (not USB type C) should be recognized even without charge. By the way to load it you need to connect via micro USB as well.

The white light starts blinking: remember that it has to be through micro usb.

Its currently plugged on the wall through the micro-usb and there is no light or anything. Guess I'll have to buy a new one... Thank you for answering my questions

It seems that it is broken. When you connect to the PC via micro usb does not recognize it?

When I haven't used the dongle for multiple hours and press the plus button, the LED doesn't light up at first. Only when I press the button again, the LED does light up. I'm guessing that the dongle goes into a sleepmode and in order to check or switch the payload, you first have to awaken it again.

Have you tried pressing the reset button? And are you still on firmware v1.0 or have you updated to v1.1? Also, the dongle does charge though both the micro USB and USB C ports, the only thing is that you don't know when it's fully charged if you charge though the USB C port. The LED will always stay fully white while doing this, in stead of constantly fading in and out while charging though micro USB.

No light at all while charging... I haven't tried pressing the reset button. There's one? I also did not update it either...

open Terminal

type the following then enter your OSX password

eject your microSD from the sidebar of any open Finder window

I know it helped a few people on OSX here.

I thought you have to do this specifically.. Do not chflags Nintendo folder if I understand correctly. Correct me if I am wrong, thanks.

You are right, if you have any large games installed on the SD in your Nintendo folder they will cease to work after this. You can chflags all folders BUT the Nintendo folder and its contents.

i got it, but after connect it to the switch, what should i do, for no banning process or smething to do before launching it, where the game goes (sd card of the switch i suppose but in a specific rep or ??) another thing to know before launch it... thanks for the answers...!!
