when I used the program the themes I got had an icon.png I downloaded your theme and didn't see an icon.png that could be it maybe

There is a wroking workaround on the actual public version.
Just flip your .png icons
You can do that with irfanview or any other image editor.

It is not flipped.
As a workaround, you can flip it.
It can be done even in paint>

I've tried flipping it before, but fine: I'll try this one more time. (P.S.: You don't even need paint: you can just right click on the image in windows explorer, and rotate it clockwise or counter-clockwise from there.)

I flipped it, and made AND installed the cia, but the icon was still upside-down on my 3ds...
And I also tried NOT flipping it, and it STILL came out upside down!

That's it, I give up. Unless the upside-down icon is because of the ticket for the theme on my 3DS, I fucking give up.

Hi, I'm having troubling installing my themes. I'm using Howling Theme Tools 1.70 and have never had any problems in the past. But today when i went to install some new themes none of the icons pics show up they are only black and i don't know why. Any help would be appreciated.

Seems this user had the same problem except his was an emulator and mine was a physical? I checked the rest of this thread and didn't see an answer for this.

How can i install rhe cia file with the icons?, i tried "import" with blue menu, but nothing happens, i installed it the first time with fbi but it has no icons, do i have to erase them first?, o what should i do?

Are you having the same problem? The icons are blacked out but they work fine?

Yeah, but i think that its something with the FBI, and im not sure how to install with the blue menu, if someone knows another option i will apreciate the help, or it doesnt matter as long as i can have the icons in the themes menu hahaha

I don't think its a problem with blue menu because I tried using blue menu and still got black icons. I used to install themes with FBI and it worked fine. Icons showed up and themes worked. Just last week I tried installing new themes and i started getting black icons. I read the entire thread and tried many things and had no luck. I want to contact Chealsea_Fantasy since she knows how to install the themes correctly but you need to post 10 times before messaging is enabled.

Well i will try on my own, however, if you find it out and you remember me i will really apreciate if you give me any info about it, obviously if i manage to fix it i will post it here si everyone can see it, im having some problems with this and mu splashes screens and cant find any help for it
