SX OS 2.6 Beta released: full support for Nintendo Switch firmware 7.x

From Team Xecuter:

This new 2.6 BETA of SX OS adds full support for Nintendo Switch firmware 7.x, including ALL functionality you expect when using our product. We've been pioneering our own unique and proprietary solution for defeating any future firmware protection and we're quite happy with the results so far.

This release is marked as BETA because we changed things drastically under the hood to streamline future firmware updates and some things may inadvertently behave differently.

That does not mean it hasn't been vetted at all, so give it a shot today!

Of course, we haven't been sitting idly behind the scenes either. A lot of our development resources and attention has been dedicated to bringing SX OS to those "unhackable" switches. We are working hard to bring the SX OS experience to all of you who are stuck with an "unhackable" switch. Stay tuned for more news!

you make no sense as you're not making a logical argument. Trust has nothing to do with facts and evidence.
Right. Because people usually believe you, when your shady company and say this and that is true, right?
Trust and facts do come together, when you have to decide if you want to allow something or not based on said claimes.

I think she didn't understand the concept of irony. as the comedian states it's only ironic if it rains on your wedding day and you're a meteorologist.

If I said yes, would you believe me?

Your argument is that you dont know if you can trust the people that sign it.
But even if I or someone else came in and said yes you wouldn't believe them either.

Your argument is entirely subjective until you yourself compile and sign it for yourself. And I very much doubt the keys will land in your lap.

You're right, I don't have those Keys...

So I can't sign the sept and I don't know if the "plaintext" key in SXOS 2.6 is the "desired" tsec_root_key or not.

You (and me) only can believe those who claims that. Nothing else.

Truthfully, precompiled sept ought to be banned too because it's encrypted and we don't know anything more about the contents than we do about 2.6.1 SX. And "trust" isn't objective. You can't just say "well I trust xyz but distrust abc" as an excuse to apply different rules.
Oh, so you want it banned because it’s encrypted? Ok, lets also go ban homebrew NSPs :)

It would be odd even for TX to include a TSEC key that they didn't need.

And even if it's not the required TSEC key to sign Sept, it's still a TSEC key that belongs to Nintendo.

Do you really think SciresM would spend 2 weeks developing a payload to derive all the needed keys, then not use it at all and just hardcode the keys :unsure:

Obviously not.

But, again, can you prove that the github code and sept.bin are the same?

I can now say that this code compiled and signed is sept.bin and you have two ways, believe or not believe me...

#include <stdio.h>
int main()
{
int integerType;
float floatType;
double doubleType;
char charType;

// Sizeof operator is used to evaluate the size of a variable
printf("Size of int: %ld bytes\n",sizeof(integerType));
printf("Size of float: %ld bytes\n",sizeof(floatType));
printf("Size of double: %ld bytes\n",sizeof(doubleType));
printf("Size of char: %ld byte\n",sizeof(charType));

return 0;
}

No one is going to believe you tho...

Why would he modify it?

Gambia, The
I fail to see how that's "toxic", but I do see how it could be interpreted as racist.
No reason to mention something like that. I dont use something like your Location to get my "Point" across. Just laughable if you cant come up with some reasonable argument and just have to rely on your "Race" card. Yes Gambia isnt a rich location on this Planet, but ist doesnt give someone the right to make fun of that.

I don't really see it as making fun of it, just a mere observation based upon geographic locations; but like I said, I see how you'd interpret it that way. It's not exactly something I'd call toxic however.

This is pretty off-topic, so I wouldn't be surprised if these posts disappeared.
