Hello All,
I am willing to update my Sysnand to 7.0.1. I want to play games online and go access Eshop. However also, I also have a lot of homebrew stuff related to atmosphere and SX OS in my SD card. My EmuNAND is also on SD card (EmuNAND on SD files). I however need to restore my switch so I can go online as I used atmosphere beforehand on it (NO NSP's were installed). So I was wondering can I copy all data from SD CARD back to my desktop? Restore and Update SysNAND. Since Im using fat32 I will have to format back to ExFAT and then again format to Fat32 as I have faced corruption issues with my SD card.
Then I copy all SD files back and then launch SX OS Bootloader from 7.0.1 to get into my EmuNAND which is of version 6.2.0? Is this possible? Also Should I do an official update (Obviously it will burn fuses) or use ChoiDujourNX? I dont think I plan on downgrading however, just in case I cannot access EmuNAND thats why? So What'd yall suggest?

If you try to go online with Emunand on SD Files, you'll probably get a ban. Restore your NAND backup and then make a new Emunand on a hidden partition.

Why would one get banned. Everything and the NAND is stored on SD card. I doubt nintendo will even try to see our SD card which would require some sort of special software. And I dont think nintendo can detect it easily. Its our sd card, you cannot get banned for having files on an SD card and it is pretty much illegal to access someones data without there permission. Btw, if i set up EmuNAND via Hidden Partition. I can access it the first time but when I close my Switch or lets say restart it and I try booting into SX OS Bootloader it will give me a boot.dat error even though I have redownloaded boot.dat and have placed it in the root of my SD card. That is why I cannot use EmuNAND on hidden partition.

Because why wouldn't you go the extra mile? Idk, I just feel safer using hidden partition. As for your error, I think your SD Card is corrupted

Not likely though. It is a real one I bought and is less than 1 month used. Checked it beforehand and have used multiple SD cards for it, which is very weird.

I also remember there being an issue with 64GB SD Cards specifically. Went out and bought a 128 one to use EmuNAND.
