SX OS 2.6 Beta released: full support for Nintendo Switch firmware 7.x

From Team Xecuter:

This new 2.6 BETA of SX OS adds full support for Nintendo Switch firmware 7.x, including ALL functionality you expect when using our product. We've been pioneering our own unique and proprietary solution for defeating any future firmware protection and we're quite happy with the results so far.

This release is marked as BETA because we changed things drastically under the hood to streamline future firmware updates and some things may inadvertently behave differently.

That does not mean it hasn't been vetted at all, so give it a shot today!

Of course, we haven't been sitting idly behind the scenes either. A lot of our development resources and attention has been dedicated to bringing SX OS to those "unhackable" switches. We are working hard to bring the SX OS experience to all of you who are stuck with an "unhackable" switch. Stay tuned for more news!

Lol.
Sx haters two weeks ago "there's no way they can break sept,sx is ded"

Sx haters now "SX released an update nearly two months after atmosphere, all their users moved,sx is ded"

xD

Seriously though,if you hate SX and TX that much, why not just stay out of the threads.
You are literally just looking for reasons to argue and its pointless. Those that use sx are pirates by nature and don't give two flying ducks that the code they use is stolen as well. That is the pirate life.

Sooo true!

It's like this (for me):
Life changing features:
Kip support
reboot to payload
proper shutdown

vs SX OS:
XCI
USB
EmuNAND.

Yea, I can live without TX.

as has been discussed MANY time.. FTP is built into SX OS, LANplay is built into SX OS - the only KIP not in SX OS at the moment is the overclocking one, which is mainly of use for N64 emulator fans.

proper shutdown? what the heck does that even mean?

apples and apples guys, if you're going to compare.

proper shutdown, means it won't reboot to autorcm if you have it enabled

thanks for the clarification, but from all I've read autorcm hasn't been recommended due to it's being easy to track in OFW - so I've stayed well away from it. I have 3.0.2 OFW and 6.2 emuNAND - I only run homebrew and backups in emuNAND of course.

Well, i can confirm (one more) that reboot to payload nro from atmos works now on sx os.

I can confirm too that the JIT Kernel-Patches have now been implemented in SX OS as well.

This is already not a minor update.

OFW 4.1.0 EmuNAND 6.2
