Did you do a 45s-hold of the power button and attempt to restart? Unmount/remount battery?

If it doesn't respond, the battery is not what would be damaged (at least not likely) but instead the power regulator chip got fried and you'd need a replacement.

I haven't done that yet I did hold power button and stuff it's plugged into a different charger just in case i know if it's dead it will charge very slow in rcm mode

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

It also fried my electric heater and the power bricks for the Xbox 360 and one

Then there's probably a good chance you fried your switch power regulator, or the charging brick is broken. But do the above things I suggested first and see if you have any luck.

Power surge? Oh dear.

You aren`t part of the 230v AC master race are you? ;)

If you cannot get any joy out of it, PM me and if you want to post to UK, I could possibly help?

The switch is ok it's just totally dead I was able to get it to boot using my phone
Good. As long as its booting to HOS and battery isn`t fooked. Lucky it didn`t take out the M92T36. Funny really... A spec USB charger can take out a M92T36 but a national grid power surge, probably tens of volts cannot. The irony is delicious.
