Hacking Atmosphere won't boot (Stuck on Switch logo after Atmosphere screen) (OFW 1.0.0)

Sorry guys, I could use some help here.
I can load the Hekate payload alright (hekate_ctcaer_4.9.1.bin). When I try to launch Atmosphere, the regular Atmosphere screen comes up for a few seconds, then it goes black, then the Switch leaves RCM (my pc makes that "device disconnected" sound), then the Switch logo shows up on the screen and stays like that forever. It's not bricked because it boots up normally if I don't try to boot it on RCM. My FW is 1.0.0 and I'm not sure if that's the reason. My SD card is formatted to Fat32. I don't think I am missing any files, but once I finish copying my Switch NAND to my PC I think I will try to delete everything on the card and start again from scratch.

Any ideas?

1.0.0 required specific file, and I don't think there are sig patches out there for 1.0.0, all the one I have seen is for 2.0.0 to 7.0.1.

There is a tutorial out there to get atmosphere to run on 1.0.0, If I can find it again I will link it, but not much you can do on 1.0.0, even though 1.0.0 switches are rare.

Did you download Kosmos or Atmosphere? Try the opposite one of what you have tried.

I can give you this, this is I have inside my 1.0.0 switch. Load fuse primary from a pc or a dongle or from Hekate, not sure what version Hekate to use.

Atmosphere is currently broken on 1.0.0, use an older version of Atmosphere or wait until it's fixed

Edit: I think you also need an older version of either hbmenu or hbloader (I don't remeber exactly which, or maybe it was both)

Sorry again, Hayato123. I am not sure how to run fuse primary from Hekate. Any guides you can link me to?

Put it in bootloader/payloads and there should be a option to load it in launch under payloads

Sorry guys, I'm scared to death of bricking my console, so let me ask you one more thing: I want to keep OFW 1.0.0 and install the exfat update. Apparently, I can use ChoiDujourNX for that, but on the ChoiDujourNX thread it says I shouldn't try to install a 1.0.0 firmware or I could brick my switch. I'll make sure I tick the option to only install the exfat update when I run ChoiDujourNX, but I still cannot be sure there will be any trouble because of my firmware version being 1.0.0... Anyone ever done it before in the same circumstances as me?

There is no exfat for 1.0.0, you will brick attempting to get exfat.

1.0.0 doesn't have exfat, cart versions of 1.0.0 have an "exfat version" but installing that "exfat version" version will brick your switch. Just use fat32

Thanks for the heads up! Will I miss anything special if I don't do the exfat update (and consequently updating to 2.0.0 or newer)? Like NAND recovery or if I want to run backups of my cartridges?

Nah, only thing exfat does is let you use files larger than 4gb (and it causes shit tons of corruption.

General rule with 1.0.0 systems is to never update.

You can't really run much on 1.0.0, so wait for emunand if you want to do any more than running a few basic homebrew apps

If you can somehow find FS patches for 1.0.0 you could probably run some homebrew NSPs and some very old Switch titles (ex. botw, mario kart, etc) that have standard crypto

Well, I would be happy with very old titles for now, lol! I'll look up more about this FS patching (does it mean firmware signature patching?)

FS is the filesystem sysmodule, FS sigpatches remove the signature check for NCAs from FS which is required to run any unsigned NCAs.

I have no idea if anybody's publicly released any for anything below 2.0.0 though

Keep fat32, if you want to install big games you have to split them or install them via USB.
