"We can’t set up a mobile hotspot"

Hopefully this is the right place to post this,
Me and a friend are the trying to set up xlink kai to play some switch but we are running into an issue, we need to make a hotspot with our pcs, I have no problems but on his part he gets an error saying something like "We can’t set up a mobile hotspot", Ive tried updating his drivers and shit but nothings working.
Help is appreciated!

Try making a hotspot with HostedNetwork.

Ok so when i go to the adapter settings, i click on my network and go to sharing, then i tick the box and under it it says local connection* 10, i assume this is all intended, now when i try and connect to it, i dont have any wifi, what did i do wrong?

does your computer (or his) actually have a wifi chip built in ?
You can not open a Wifi Hotspot if your Computer doesn't have the required Hardware ....

My Home Computer doesn't have one and it is by far not an old Computer .... Laptops usually allways have it, Home Computer often don't.
