Hello, I'm trying this method: https://guide.sdsetup.com/usingcfw/manualchoiupgrade
because my switch cannot boot in OFW or CFW pass the Nintendo logo and I found this as a possible solution.

I am now stucked at the USER partition, I have previously obtained my BIS Key and, if I try now, it just tell me that the tsed_keys.bin is the wrong size but I can still retieve the BIS Key manually from Heckate.
Said so, When I get to test and save the USER partition on HacDiskMount it just FAIL! and it is the only partition who does so... what can it be the problem? what can it be a possible solution?

The guide you linked to isn't currently loading for me, so all I can suggest is to make sure you're using the correct keys and to follow this guide. The guide you linked to is derivative of this guide.
I'll have a look at it now and update you on it, thank you for it.

Just a quick question Lacius, I have 8 burnt fuses and the guide works until 5.1.0 is it ok anyway?

Yes. Following the guide will at least allow you to boot your Switch from a bootloader like Hekate. From there, you can use ChoiDujourNX to update to 6.2.0 or higher.

Edit: Out of curiosity, what did you do that caused your problem in the first place?

I was restoring my NAND and after I did so it just didnt want to boot anymore so I started searching what could have been the problem and I found out that I have 8 fuses burnt so this, I guess, is due to an update. I think is SXOS that cause it because I always used ChoiDUjourNX to update.

by the way, the guide is the same when it regards USER partition, cannot make it work.

Did you use biskeydumpv8 to get your keys?

I've tried, just for the sake of it, to boot without fixing the USER partition and, obviously, when I try to boot into anything (it pass the nintendo logo) but after the switch one it stops on ERROR:2002-4686 because the USER partition is not it's own... I really dont understand. I have a backup of my USER partition but it is splitted into 13 files and I'm not quite sure how to merge it. I used RAWNAND to restore when I did last time.

Now I was trying a different firmware but the problem is still the same, I started thinking that I could be my laptop the problem here because it doesnt make any sense that my switch doesnt allowe me to fix the USER.

write your boot 1 & 2 files again in your Nand/backup/restore after raw nand write

I've tried to write em again but it didnt made any difference.

Now I've installed the switch native firmware 3.0.1 but it doesnt pass the switch logo screen

I'm going to do a full restore of my rawnand.bin boot0 and boot1 again, and, if this doesnt solve it, I'll take the console to Nintendo and see what they can do. the problem here, tho, is only the USER partition. I have a backup of it but it's splitted, is there any how to merge it?

I've seen this before, where the biskey on the user partiton has changed. If hacdiskmount can't verify the biskey neither will the switch, hence why it's failing to boot.

Try restoring your nand 1st. If this doesn't work let me know and we'll fix it another way

Ok guys, I fixed the problem.

I will explain:
Since the only problem that I was getting was the USER partition, I took the USER partition from the NAND backup of my original FW and, since it was splitted into 13 parts, (USER.00, USER.01 ... USER.12) I renamed it from USER.001 to USER.013 and this did the trick with the help of WinRAR since the .001 extension can be red by it I managed to merge it into a single file called simply USER moved it into backup>xxxxxxxx>partition and restored it with heckate 4.8 (tools>restore>Restore GPP partitions) and restored boot0 and boot1 too from there I went back to HacDiskMount and no more fail message.
Positive part is that it took me just about 1h to restore the USER partition this way, and restoring the entire rawnand take me usually 48h+

now I am running on 3.0.1 which is the original firmware but I have 8 burnt fuses and, if I try to update using ChoiDujourNX to any firmware it gave me always the same error of missing NSP during the installation (I've also tried to download multiple version of the same FW and place them into multiple folders inside the same macrofolder in my SD (cause this was explained in multiple pages) but it did not help at all. I updated to 7.0.1 using the normal Nintendo way right now, still show 8 burnt fuses, will check if I can run my CFW normally (SXOS did not work at all in creating emunand or booting)

Ok, Now I'm running 7.0.1 OF and when I try to boot with hekate 4.8 or atmosphere 4.5 it just give me a black screen after the nintendo logo (KosmosV11-10-2 was installed from a clear FATex format of my sd cards)

edit1: Never mind, I just had to start the OF once in order to allow the firmware to actually install into the switch, now it boot into CFW

I don't have nand backup or Boot0/1. I did the stupid things by restore someone nand from the internet.

I still can boot to hetake and trying to manual downgrade using ChoiDuJour on PC. I stuck at the step where my my keys I dumps from hetake won't work on my PRODINFO ( It always failed ). Do you have any idea ?

if you can boot homebrew just install something slightly lower and then use cfw to boot that. make a backup of that just in case then update to whatever you want and backup again. Backup twice just ince you ever want to go back. ( I use my lowest backup as a clean, no rcm backup).
