I can't get toejam and earl to do anything it just says files finished as soon as its supposed to start
Yeah it's because of the & and ! in the title. The special characters and japanese will be solved for the next release since i'm now parsing inputs and processing lists with python instead of batch but for now you need to erase those characters from the file's name.
Next release will hopefully not be too long away now, it kinda only needs more testing and i still need to include the joiner for the fat32 splitted files.

If a new update/DLC for a game comes out, can I add it to an existing XCI i made with this without re-adding ALL the update files/DLC again?
Yes, you use multi mode for that. Update mode is meant for adding updates and the rare cases when a dlc gets an update too. Either way I plan to make a better solution than the current one.

Care to explain? Did you downloaded current version? If you downloaded yesterday night I re-edited the zips a couple of times. There was a span of 10 minutes or so were they could be bad.
I just tested the zips and are working fine for me. You would need to give me a better explanation to see if there is a current issue with the second beta.

Oh, it finally works for you? I'm parsing most inputs trough python, it's slower to show up the enter input message but works better with special characters.
Good to hear. The update mode "base content input" and info function inputs are still done by the batch. I'm going to change them to python but if you see an issue there (aside from compatibility with special characters) please let me know. Either way lists are now process directly by python (using squirrel) and I think that was where your issue was before.
when it asks me to drag the file i did so & hit enter & it asks me again to drag the file & it just stays this way
i did ,i have used previous version fine,this latest one is a no go
Could it be you dragged it before the input text appeared? It's slower to show now since it needs to call squirrel.exe and squirrel parses the keys.txt at startup. I need to see if i can make it faster.
