Which starter Pokémon will you choose in Sword & Shield?

Based only on what we've seen, Grookey. Because he's a grass monkey, a funky monkey. I want to see evolutions for each of them though.

I'll probably go with Sobble on this one (though I do like Scorbunny's design as well). The reason for this being because I love water type Pokemon and I already went with grass and fire in Moon and Ultra Moon respectively. I sometimes tend to go with the designs I like the most instead of my favorite typings, such as my choice with Turtwig in Diamond back then.

Too soon. It's not worth asking that question right now, since what you'll see most of the game will be the final evolution, which hasn't been shown yet.

Based on the trailer looks like Grookey could end up being a Grass/Psychic, If you look closely after he finished batting his batten, The grass regrows immediately.
I'm definitely going after Grookey.
Unless Scorbunny ends up being literally amazing looking.

Seriously though, the bar can't still be that high, we've had lamp Pokemon and ice cream cone Pokemon. I prefer when they at least use the animal kingdom for inspiration.

If the final is nice I'm going with the water starter for once, the previous gen had a freaking ugly final form water, so I skipped that one.
