So Etrian Odyssey 3 balance patch 107 doesn't work on my r4. Gives me the error -4. Any fix for this?
Please help. I have an r4 revolution 3 for D's and I have no idea what size it can hold our what to kernel to use at all
Well at least yours goes somewhere. Mine just gives me a straight error=4. Using the latest balance patch from here and all the other stuff. Is annoying.
Does anyone have a usrcheat.dat with Fire Emblem New Mystery of the Emblem cheat codes? DeadSkullzJr's usrcheat.dat doesn't have any codes for New Mystery of the Emblem. I need it for TwiLightMenu++.
Why don't you ask on that thread instead? Maybe he can add it for his database.
No, no special cart-specific features like RTS, even if your cart supports it with it’s normal firmware. You need to save in-game, or stick with your cart’s regular firmware.

Would you or someone else with R4 Gold Pro 20XX mind trying Tingle’s Rosy Rupeeland for me? I can’t get it to load for some reason, it just whitescreens. Tried reformatting my card, double-checked the checksum... I’m pretty sure it worked before, but it could have been on another card.
White screens on R4 Gold Pro 2019 with YSMenu. Works on M3 DS Real with M3Sakura.
Nevermind. I looked up the problem and people were saying that it just takes longer than expected to load. Sure enough, I tried again and the game started after a few seconds of the white screen. Thanks, though.
Some cards support this feature when you run them using the official firmware designed for whatever card you’re using. However, this firmware (YSMenu) can’t do this, even if you’re using a card that supports it.
The idea is to use your card’s own firmware if it works fine and/or has special features you like, or use the firmware from the first post for increased compatibility with games or to get around your card’s “time bomb”, it it has one.
Hey there. I came here because I was hoping to be able to run YSMenu on an R4i Gold 3DS+ (r4ids.cn), but I couldn't manage to do it. As far as I know, that flashcart has "official" support for R4 Wood, leading me to believe it's an "official" R4 clone, but I read here that it's suspected to actually be an Acekard 2i clone.
I could get the card to boot YSMenu by opening YSMenu.nds on the card's kernel menu (R4 Wood 1.64), but trying to boot any game would show an error saying that it's an "Unsupported DLDI name". I did try patching YSMenu.nds (and TTMenu.dat) with the r4idsn_sd.dldi file included with the R4 Wood kernel, but it didn't work. I also tried obtaining an alternate DLDI with dldiextract.nds and patching YSMenu with that, but still couldn't get games to boot either.
I could only get YSMenu to boot by using the "R4-Clone YSMenu" files (for which I followed the instructions diligently), which leads me to believe it's the method I should focus on, and also makes me want to believe I'm headed the right direction.
And before anyone asks "why would you want to use YSMenu instead of R4 Wood?", it's because I own a legitimate DSTTi card with YSMenu, and it's never failed me. The R4i Gold 3DS+ belongs to my girlfriend, and I can't get some WFC-patched games to boot on R4 Wood, even though they work completely fine on YSMenu. Unpatched games work flawlessly in Wood tho, but where's the fun in that?
