I am using old 3ds.
So some of the cheats are outdated. So they won't work for. The latest update.

If. You want cheats either delete the title update and find one for. A previous update.
Or use pksm to make the pokemon shiny.

There is also sharkive. Which uses text files for. Cheats.

Seeing as its christmas I won't be linking anything. So merry Christmas.

Would it be possible to add Cherish Balls to the Pokeball code? I think it's the only one missing, though I can't remember if Dream Balls are in there or not. I know I can add them in with PKHex, but it'd be nice to do it from my 3DS too.

Thes cheats worked fin on my n2ds for a while but then after about 30 mins of play anytime i got in or out of battle my game would crash and I'd get an arm 11 crash dump menu. Once i deleted the plugin everything worked again. Just here to report what went wrong. Great cheats otherwise

First, thanks to the people working on this. it's working for me 95% great. The only real issue I'm having is that the "show IVs and EVs on pokemon summary screen" code causes a hard crash when I open the menu. Also, while the pokemon spawner is working, the level choosing function doesn't seem to work.

Also is this plugin still being worked on? I'd love to see a code to give a pokemon it's secret ability if so.

@AnalogMan I see the updates to/support for this plugin have stopped. I feel it's also safe to assume you're not planing to personally update it to the new .3gx format either. Is there any chance you'd be willing to release the source code in the [semi-]near future - or at least pass it to someone willing to update it to .3gx? (Yes, I'm volunteering - though I understand if you have another willing person you'd prefer to pass it to, if at all)

I could probably convert most of the codes right here and now (bar the pokemon spawner, which would be difficult to recreate) as long as I knew how to set up the memory space after 0x08010000 - as that's the portion of ASM instructions that the "gateshark only" codes rely on that is not allocated by the game under NTR.

Recently i got a lot of problem with this plugin. Recently have start to work not so great, like i enter two time in the cheat menu and then the game crash. This happen to time with all codes. I don't even get a error arm11 the game just stop to work and i force to hard reset.

Is there a version of the USUM framework that works with the not-updated version of USUM? I cannot get them to work in a randomizer (which only works on the oldest version of USUM)

It's quite likely that the randomizer will also prevent the plugin from working, as ROM and RAM modifications tend to change offsets (not always the case, but often true)

If you're already patching the game, just use one of the existing patches

Alternatively, just use the blank plugin that supports Gateshark/AR codes and hope this does the trick (works in both US and UM - though if it doesn't work with the randomizer, neither would the old plugin):

I havent taken up actually patching games. I usually just derp around in RAM and tinker with what little ASM (basically machine code instructions) I understand.

Newest .3gx format blank plugin (requires custom Luma 9.1 payload to use)

If you need the older .plg format, it's here in the ActionReplay.7z attachment.

I've also 'taken over' JourneyOver's repository of Gateshark and CTRPFAR codes on my fork, as he stopped maintaining it in favor of Sharkive and jsut IRL in general. I've been adding a number of my own codes, too - though they're usually for the latest update on games that have them. The only codes I've seen that won't work there are some of ymyn's 'gateshark only' codes that were part of the original Fort42 dump. Regardless, if there's other codes you might want (like Instant Messages), they should be in there.
