I installed unlaunch and Twilight menu and it was working fine. I was tweaking with it and I accidentally set Twilight to automatically boot to last rom played. That was a mistake because I'd never played a rom on it. Twilight didn't boot anymore so I was stuck back to the stock home menu. Then from unlaunch, I set it to automatically boot to unlaunch, then I uninstalled it by accident. It won't boot anymore now! I let it drain battery then charged it and tried again, still no luck. I tried starting again from dsi.cfw.guide/installing-unlaunch.html but it still won't boot when I reach step 5 of "Preparing your SD card." I also heard to try holding down y so I did as it was booting, after it was booting, and before it booted, and nothing happened. What do I do now?! I have a NAND backup on the SD card BTW. I read that there could be an unrecoverable brick but there HAS to be some way, right?

And how do I do that?
NOTE: You must have soldering skills for this.

First you will need to remove the No$GBA footer from your current NAND backup; you can use my HiyaCFW Helper's NAND mode for that. Then follow the Hardware NAND Mod Guide section of the Gadorach's DSi Downgrading post but instead of reading you will need to write the backup file with no footer.

Import one from japan on ebay, costs 15 euros
Actually, I bought a regular pink one from Japan on eBay recently for $30USD including shipping to my country. Hasn't arrived yet, but the seller stated that it doesn't come with Flipnote. If it arrives before FailZone gets released I'll try to record a video tutorial of the hardmod process (as I have not seen a single one yet) and post it to YouTube.

Next time this happens, you should just delete sd:/_nds/twilightmenu/settings.ini

Though, @Robz8, it'd be nice if it can check if there is a last rom played before trying to launch the last rom played. Like, what if my last rom played is a deleted nds game? Then what?

Hello! You could try holding A+B on boot, theoretically speaking it should load straight into unlauncher. I tried this using version 1.9 of unlauncher and it worked fine for booting straight to it. Not sure how you uninstalled unlaunch by accident but hope this works! Have a good rest of your day :)

EDIT: From this you can navigate the menu and look for the uninstall option, just ignore the warnings as its a very low chance you will get it bricked. Although if it does I am by no means necessary responsible for your Dsi

From memory you completely power your Dsi off, then you hold A+B then turn the Dsi on. It should open Unlauncher then from that you can uninstall it. You don't need your SD Card in the Dsi as the CFW (Custom Firm Ware) then navigate the menu till you find the option to uninstall Unlauncher. Ignore the warnings then you should have a stock Dsi :) If that did not work try to explain your problem in more detail, thanks.
