I get a black screen with a "prefetch abort - kernel panic" error message.

I was uninstalling stuff on FBI so i could get room for more games, and I uninstalled a bunch of those titles made of only numbers, since I thought those were saved games from previous uninstalled titles.

Now I can't even boot. I get a black screen,

I'm not sure what kind of CFW this has because I bought it second hand last september. Does anyone knows how can i solve this?

I guess you could still flash it back, but soldering is needed?!
No. The files that you deleted were the tickets for system titles to run. If you can’t into GodMode9, then you need to solder and use a hard mod to restore the NAND.
Wait a minute… not so fast with the soldering iron, please.

@RuySan
Please check this on your SD:
  • Do you have SD:/boot.firm
  • Do you have SD:/luma/payloads/GodMode9.firm
Can you access Luma settings by holding (SELECT) when turning on the 3DS?

Can't i just reformat the card and copy all the needed files again?
What you have deleted is on the internal NAND chip, not the SD.

This would be indeed a valuable piece of information. Do you know what official firmware version the 3DS was on? Depending on what exploit is installed on your device, different files on the SD may be needed.

In any case: If everything else fails (you can't access GodMode9 no matter what) this leaves two possibilities:
  • The already mentioned hardmod (you need to be good at soldering to do this)…
  • …or starting GodMode9 with the ntrboot method (to perform CTRTransfer). If you don’t already have a compatible flashcart, get the R4i Gold 3DS Plus.
Normally all software problems can be solved using ntrboot.

No, as you removed an important ticket thus bricked your firmware.
Make sure you have luma.firm on SD.
Make sure you have godmode9.firm in luma/payloads. If so and you have B9S, you can always boot godmode9, until you fry the NAND.

.

I can answer yes to all of those questions. I can also access the Luma settings (luma is version 9.1). This is good news, right?

So that you know in the future, those "only number" titles in FBI are the system titles used by the 3DS operating system. (You literally deteted the "system32" equivalent of windows :P) So next time don't mess with them or check that it's actually a game and not a system title using this.
