Hardware New 2DS XL Top screen removal

So, I recently dropped my 2DS XL, and the top screen’s ribbon cable is ripped. I can’t send it in for repair, due to CFW, and I want to avoid replacing the top screen. Is there anything I can do?

A) Fix it yourself or find someone local who will with the supplied parts.
B) Send it to this 3DS/2DS parts & repair specialist.
