Hey Guys

I currently have 11.6 installed with some version of luma-its been ages since ive been up to date

From here-if i want to run the latest...everything, whats the steps?

Have read some guides but most seem to be from stock to latest, not "midway"

Any pointing in the right direction greatly appreciated :)

Update to the latest version of Luma3DS before updating your 3DS. You must have B9S installed for it to work.

Thanks-how can i tell what my current version of luma is? Im pretty sure i have B9S already :) that acronym looks familiar when i was modding my 3ds back then

Thanks! im currently on 9.0, im guessing this is outdated.

is there a way to check if i have done the B9S method? like i said im 90% sure i already have B9S, does that mean all thats left is

1.update luma
2.update 3ds firmware

Thats it?

9.0 only works with B9S, so you're good. Update to Luma3DS 9.1 and then update your 3DS.

You are a legend :) Thanks so much, did not expect it to be so easy! is the luma updater app thats installed on my 3ds still viable? or is manual updating safer/better?

That depends on how new the updater is. Try it, and if it doesn't work, do it manually.
