Can you tell us which game you're trying to extract music from and what tools you're using?

i use HackingToolkit9DS to extract the game files and all kinds of tools for converting the BRSTM-BCSTM-BFSTM files. the problem is that in some games i just cant find some of the tracks. like they arent in the sound folder with all the rest, so im not sure where to look or if they are stored as something else

what do u mean they were wrong?

arent all the sound files BRSTM, BCSTM or BFSTM ?

I mean that where I was expecting e.g. ‘boss-part1’ it was somehow labelled ‘credits’.

This was from a different platform mind you, but my point was that you may need to listen through the extracted files to find what you want if you are going by just any file names.

Also, you Coolsonickirby also asked which game you’re trying to extract from.

Several different games I have noticed this with. I figured someone else may have run into this issue as well. Just lookin for some help.
