I have a 4TB WD Mybook HHD. Should this one be good to use on the usb once formatted to fat32 32kb?

Yes, but also make sure there are no hidden partitions, partition fragments or unallocated space, usually shown as an ASTRIK.

If there are MERGE them into the main partition before formatting. They can hang the USB Loaders from loading up the game.

Use EaseUS Partition Manager to check it, there is a free version. Also best format tool is FAT32 GUI Formatter.

Yeah I know and I understand that but in fact, Nintendo started including the French language in wii games (maybe because of lack ofspace on cartridges and gcn discs), so for the GameCube I have to go through a hole mess to play them. If it was only for me it would be okay to play the games in English but I have brothers and sisters that are not as familiar as me with the english language and I want my wii to be a family console.
If you force a video mode for PAL games, it can be rarelly cropped depeding of the game. Force 480p/progressive scan to avoid issues.

I am not able to use my official gc controller to play GC games through Nintendont. I can use the controller to select a game in the menu, but once the game loads, I cannot do anything.

wii or wiiu? are you using wii with gc ports or wiiu gc adapter? make sure gc controller is stuck on port one, also if running wiiu wii inject and using the gamepad, the gamepad takes player one position.

I'm starting up a new Gladius playthrough and want to be able to leave the Wii on all the time, switching over from time to time to play a battle or two. I have a cat who eats cables, so I can't leave a GC controller in reach when I'm not playing. Right now I'm using a Classic Pro plugged into the Wiimote, but the Wiimote doesn't seem to sleep when idle, so I'm concerned I'll have to change the batteries every day.

Will the Wiimote eventually fall asleep? Is the draw only bad when truly in use? Does the WiiU Pro controller sleep properly?

why not just save? lol also you can just remove wiimote batery i guess, afaik the controllers on wii dont sleep. specialy inside homebrew since no one coded a sleep function.

There are some PAL that go to 50hz but I found tricks by GCT that can be forced (not all) to 60hz, could work in Nintendont?
nintendont can force pal games videomode to 60hz since day one.. go to videomode and choose for pal60 or even force ntsc it will be 60hz, some games work some dont.

Having trouble using the Nyko Retro Controller Hub (for Switch) with Nintendon't on a Wii U.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JHYFYC6/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza

I thought it'd work, seemingly all those hubs are very similar........
Any ideas?

Hid test just kinda freezes up?
How hard would it to mod source to add this hid usb. Its gotta be hid usb right?

Hard. Sending it back. Will try another clone and see if that works. Odd. I thought for sure that Nyko retro controller hub (for switch?) thing would work.

Heyo. Was Triforce multiplayer ever implemented for Nintendont? I'm almost finished with Mario Kart Arcade GP and I wish to have some multiplayer races. If not, is there some way I can help to implement it?

I have a Wii U with the vWii modded. Nintendont installed. I can boot the games from Usb Launcher GX or through Nintendont directly. I have the same problem with both. I have a wiimote/classic controller and a wiimote/nunchuck setup. The wiimote works in the nintendont menu. The 2 Gamecube games that I have launch properly. When I try to rapidly press buttons on the wiimote so it wakes up, it syncs but as controller port 4 (lights up on the controller) rather than port 1. A screen comes up where it asks to use progressive mode or not. But, I can't select anything. Eventually, the selection screen times out and the game intro starts playing. I still can't make any selections. I have tried to mess with settings, but nothing seems to work. Thoughts on this?

you sure it syncs to 4 player or all 4 lights are showing?

if it was only port 4 the wiimote will only show the 4th light and not all 4, if its showing all 4 it means its not sinced to any port.

if only light 4 happens then you have controllers connected to 1-3.

if you have a wiiu gc adapter or are using the wiiu gamepad they take priority over bt controllers like wiimote.

also fake wiimotes/joycons usualy dont work ingame even if they work on nintendont menu itself.

I was testing a few custom injects on WiiU today and noticed a few PAL games in my library don´t work with force progressive (I don´t use widescreen hack), namely:
Code:
Resident Evil 1
Resident Evil 2
Resident Evil 4
Resident Evil Code: Veronica X
Resident Evil Zero
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime 2
Rogue Squadron III
I was wondering, why these same games work with Swiss forced progressive:
http://www.gc-forever.com/wiki/index.php?title=Swiss/Forced_Progressive_Compatibility_List

Is it possible to patch this @FIX94?
Also I seem to remember, that at least Metroid Prime used to work with forced progressive in the past.

I was using a rock candy wiimote. Switched to my real wiimote, and it worked. Maybe the first post should be updated to reflect this information. By the way, thank you so much because you don't know how long I spent on trying to get nintendont to work (unknowingly using my non-genuine wiimote). I'm embarrassed to admit how long.

So before I go out and by some, do the PDP or Hori fight pads work with the remote to control the gamecube games? Thoughts on those?
