Team-Xecuter Presents SX OS v2.5.3

TX is already starting to roll-out fixes for those that sadly updated to v7.0 :)
SX253.jpg

Team-Xecuter has all hands on deck, after big 'N' throw them a tough one v7.0.0 was released recently, and as you must know by now, its STILL NOT RECOMMENDED TO UPDATE, but for those that didn't see the early warning signs, or had their Switch consoles automatically updated somehow, there is now light at the end of the tunnel, its not there completely yet, but the hard-working developers at Xecuter today, made the first step towards helping out those that have updated their SysNAND to v7.0.0 :)
We are receiving lots of questions regarding compatibility with the latest 7.0 firmware update.

While we are not ready yet to release this to the world we did want to put out a small bugfix release that addresses one important issue..

So here we are; SX OS v2.5.3!

What was fixed?
  • EmuNAND 6.2 booting again after updating System NAND to 7.0
Some of you who updated their System NAND to version 7.0 notified us their EmuNAND on version 6.2 would no longer boot, thus they were unable to continue using SX OS! This of course is unacceptable, so we decided to investigate and fix it. You can now enjoy the latest firmware on your System NAND again while keeping a compatible firmware in your EmuNAND partition.
That's all for today. Stay tuned!

(As usual, please remember all of TX latest releases & apps, can be found on their SX Portal website)

Not to mention the fact that they hypocritically draw a line when it comes to signature patches.
Sure, they reverse engineer the system but you will not have sigpatches from us.
Dude. TX had sigpatches before the open source community did. It's required to run pirated copies of games.

I'd say open source community is just as bad, if not worse than Xecuter due to the very fact that you guys are not at all as open source as you say you are, you open source people lie like rugs, you can hide behind lies like SciresM is a hero but like all hackers, he is only in it for the fame, if it were up to him truly, he wouldn't have released his CFW and if he did, it would be as draconian as Nintendo's OS.

Yes Xecuter is greedy but they brought in competition and that's what a scene like this needs, to improve oneself, not bickering and fighting like it's highschool all over again like your doing.
Xecuter is definitely not hiding anything right? Considering that open source is only about the software, it does not have anything to do with SciresM's decisions and lies and secrets.

I can't really see the competition. Especially talking about Atmo vs SX OS, as Atmo "team" doesn't support warez and are doing it strictly for homebrew (this is what they say. I don't care what they do, but their CFW does not have sigpatches by default). They are not competing with SX OS, as their default CFW does not support what SX OS does best. They are doing own stuff. Like reimplementing all secure monitor and own kernel. (Please open my eyes here, as I really don't see atmo competing with SX OS).

There is definitely a competition between SX OS installer stuff and other open source installers for sure. And sigpatches.

Read again carefully:
I see it the same way as @Essasetic
Not to mention the fact that they hypocritically draw a line when it comes to signature patches.

First "they" is talking about open source.
Then there is a quote where: second they = xecuter. Us = open source.

That's how I understand it.
Probably because Xecuter is known to be the one who reverse engineers most of the stuff, but yea, they (xecuter) had sigpatches first.

you forgot the people who analyze other people

well, i understand open source is more then a great thing, i just don't understand the people hurry in every SX thread update to start bashing it and request from them to be open source for all.
"Ok, nothing interesting. Still waiting for open source community to, as always, save the day."

nothing interesting? they made the OS compatible with 7.0, i just don't get it.

The only thing that bothers me is not adding the Support firstly, then releasing the Utility to install Games and other titles onto your Switch.
I think we can all agree that was a horrible PR move on their part. I don't hate TX or SXOS, but they seem to rush things too often and make rash decisions. But that's just my take on the matter; take with you what you please.

No they didn't. That's the point. They just made it possible to boot EmuNAND when you are too lazy to downgrade from 7.0.0 when you accidentaly updated. (I guess that their EmuNAND is not full then)

Support firstly? you mean for kip files? i wish they do it, i don't know why they don't add it.
