Guys im just about to update my emunand to 6.2, my SD is formatted in Fat32 so do i pick the 6.2.0 option or the 6.2.0 (exFAT) Option?

Sorry for the simple questions i just want to do this once and do it right!

Im using the newest SXOS.

Thanks!

ExFat if your want additional ExFat drivers.
If doesn't tell you to use ExFat format.

Awesome, thanks.

Was wondering, saw people talking black screens and such, didn't want to mess anything up since I did the long way, the patchy update.

Maybe my switch is cursed, I have tried 2 times to go to 6.2 and each time my switch just bricks. I select exfat update every time. I used 2 different 6.2 FW folders as well one from xbins the other a reputable source.

Don't forget to do a nand back up just in case.

Dont get me wrong all raj tools are awesome, I went to 5.1 flawlessly and used many other tools to fix my switch just something about 6.2...

So to quote the OP guide.
"
  • Q: I've never run firmware 4.0.0 or higher on my switch, so my gamecard controller firmware is still not updated. How do i make sure my gamecard controller works after i downgrade back to < 4.0.0 ?
  • A: When flashing the firmware image for any 4.0.0 or later firmware, ChoiDujourNX will generate a protective hekate_ipl.ini on your microsd, with a "PreventGCUpdate" launch target. You must ALWAYS boot using this launch target (or add kip1patch=nogc to any launch target you wish to use in the future) and use a Hekate that supports the kip1patch option (releases here do: if you want to prevent use and updating of your GC controller firmware on firmware versions 4.0.0 and up."

for the red bolded part.. will SX OS 2.2 and newer fall under this category? I have AutoRCM enabled and plan to just boot straight into CFW

SX OS does not support external kips nor the nogc patch.

The way I understand it, is that SXOS does not need it. As long as you don't insert a cartridge at anytime after or during the update. And if you use emuNand then you don't have to worry about AutoRCM since it will always boot into your OFW(<4.0).

I just updated both my consoles to 6.2 using this and it worked fine. NAND backup, verify the update etc and you have no issues really.

I'm assuming sd corruption. If you have a exfat card try as fat32 or if you have a spare then use that in fat32
