Nah, fuse writing is permanently disable before leaving the factory (and the fuses contain the ipatches)That's strange! I always thought Nintendo could patch a refurbed unit before reselling it. Maybe I was wrong. Good for you, anyway, if you got lucky.

Not yet. But ones on 4.1.0-6.0.1 will be able use basic homebrew soon, and ones on 4.1.0 will be able to use CFW eventually.
