Does someone have cheats for Omensight Definitive Edition ?

Was going to work on some but having problems....

I am using the NSP version of this game, and have it installed to my SD Card, I hit the home button, launched SX OS cheat menu and searched for my value, but when I hit the home button again to load the game I had a message display saying 'An error has occurred. You're game will now close'

This has happened 3 times. Anyone else experiencing this?

I played this briefly, is this your typical RPG game where you would level up your character by defeating enemies? So a 'trainer' of sorts would be ideal to quickly increase your characters level?
Indeed feels like that type of game. Reminds me a bit of Hyrule Warriors and Fire Emblem Warriors. If the hex locations of exp, money and QP were found, then even better.

For cheats for this game it appears to be all pointer based with (for example LVL) being stored in a HEAP address, that changes from Quest to Quest.

Unfortunately, I am unable to use Noexes on my windows machine as I have to have Java11 for a JavaFX project for work - which leaves me as no help on this.

thanks for this list, optantic would have succeeded?

The dynamic games list means not that's impossible to make a code. That's just merlins list of games he cannot make codes for. Someone who knows to find pointers or someone who can work with ida can make codes. But with the current tools it's a pita to do this. Maybe with noexs+usb+better pointer search or sxos cheat engine updated it will be easier.

Also I think I know a way to make a giga bowser code that will work in all modes so there isn’t a crash after winning in normal smash mode. The game crashes when loading the victory screen since there’s no announcer audio clip to say winner is giga bowser. We could modify the values that change the icon and victory data to be a valid character like Mario but leave the loaded memory address as giga bowsers ID this in theory should allow giga bowser to win a smash battle or classic battle without a crash as on the victory screen he will just t-pose

I fixed the Giga Bowser code to prevent the crash in VS. Mode. Here it is:
Code:
[Play As Giga Bowser]
08010000 06530A18 C1005D0F 93DBBF13
08020000 06530A20 C1005D0F 93DBBF13
08030000 065318A8 C1005D0F 93DBBF13
08040000 065318B0 C1005D0F 93DBBF13
01050000 064F53A8 0000000F
01060000 064F53A9 0000000F
The announcer just says "Win."

I also made a Player 2 Modifier code. Here it is:
Code:
08010000 06530BE0 C1005113 89102CBF
08020000 06530BE8 C1005113 89102CBF
08030000 06531AC0 C1005113 89102CBF
08040000 06531AC8 C1005113 89102CBF

It doesn't work to make Player 2 Master Hand (just makes them Mario) and in WoL it just changes the icon and name of the player. The actual character address in WoL seems to be stored in a BASE address. The code works fine for anything else, though I'd need to make it work for Giga Bowser for Player 2 later.

Awesome haven’t had a chance to do this yet. I’ve been busy with the resident evil remake haha

Hey Optantic, when do you think you want to release cheats codes for Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze? It would be awesome!

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though

@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.
