It uses a cr1216 battery, which is available almost everywhere. It won't be shipped with it though due to laws with them though

I hope the project is going well! :)

Battery Injections were tested the other night. 1000+ injections off a single battery.
Jig got redesigned earlier, now feels better
Aiming for the device to be out in February
Now come with Argon-NX pre loaded with instructions to change firmware if you want :)

Ah you're part of the crew helping to test it? I mean I got a SX Pro, A broken community dongle, a RCMloader and a R4S (at the postal office). Of course I want another dongle to try xD

Will the injector have a rechargeable battery of sorts and a port to charge it?
Or will we have to replace the battery once it goes dry?

Current iteration will have a regular watch battery, but they are getting over a 1000 uses before the battery needs to be replaced. That is WAY more than most people will need for a long time.

You underestimate how many times people can use it daily :P
But still, when that happens, will it be easy to change the battery of the dongle?

Not part of the testers, I've been keeping up to date on the development in the discord and talking to the dev + am a mod there :)

yeah I dunno if @MatinatorX has a video of it been changed out, but it is quite simple. I think it was worked out even with 3-4 injections a day it would last a year

Currently uploading a video to YouTube which shows the DragonInjector having it's battery swapped and the RCM jig being used to boot into ArgonNX. :D

The DI has a little hole in the top designed so a paperclip can poke the old battery out for replacement.

For those wondering about the ArgonNX theme, I'll be providing clean (the one shown) and dirty versions if anyone is interested. Previews attached!

would be kinda cool if the themes come in the same color as the injector itself ^^

@K3Nv2 Snow Day is pretty fun. My only bitch would be the camera controls, when you move around, say down, you have to move the right stick left or right to get camera to turn and get your view, other than that I like it so far.

From what people say pvp isn't even worth it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

If you can find enough for it

Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

I bet most people at the time still watched it in black and white
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates

    Sorry didnt read that part
